My family and I stayed at Thielsen View Campground the week before labor day weekend. We absolutely loved the campground and have stayed at diamond lake many times before, and have always enjoyed it. Between the trails, the fishing, swimming and everything else it's a great time. The only few things that sucked this time was the lake had a pretty good Algae bloom going and the bees were absolutely horrible! The campsite we stayed in had several bee traps that were not really doing anything. It was extremely difficult to even cook without them swarming everything. My kids got stung several times it really sucked. In the long run I would stay here again but I think that something needs to be done about the bee issues in the campground.

Our campsite was nice and shaded, but neighbors were pretty noisy, listening to music all day and into the evening. It wasn't so much that it was loud, just that the base and drum carried. Late arrivals opposite took over an hour to level their trailer and had their engine idling and lights shining into our tent the whole time.

Once everyone settled in, however, it was super quiet and beautiful, dark skies.
