The campground is beautiful, lush and full of beautiful trees and bushes. The sites were all very nice too. It was quite pleasant to the eyes. The neighbors were very close, and very loud into all hours of the night. Not to many adhering to the rules of the campground, and didnt seem the hosts did anything about it. Also people all over letting their dogs run free, one pooped in the middle of our campsite. We had neighbors that made us not want to use a campground again. Lake was beautiful and the water level was very high, we were able to jump off the dock which was fun! It was the middle of the week and it was very busy still, probably close to 60 kayaks or paddle boards all in the lake at the same time. It was good to get out of the heat and into some water. It was nice to have big picnic tables at our site. We had a double site number 27/28 and it had great shade in the late afternoon early evening. The site has no electricity and no water hook ups, and for the cost of the site it really should have those. We camped in a popup camper with 3 little kids and 2 adults and got a double site because we wanted more space, Im glad we did. There were mostly tent campers here, and from the sounds of things they were very urban, not many used to sharing a facility and being respectful of others and their space and sleep. So be aware. As beautiful as it was, we wont use the campground again. We will just boondock up the road a little ways and just buy a day pass to go play at the lake next time. Much cheaper and hopefully a little quieter at night.

Me my family and some extended family camped in Area C, site 27/28. Plenty of space for our 16 person tent, 4 person tent, and a 2 person tent. We stayed Sun.-Wed. during the first week of September. Good time to go because there’s not many campers and it was so nice to have the peace and quiet. The bathrooms and vault toilets were very clean. Had a bear visit in the night, leaving it’s tracks on our car, CRAZY! You can also hear coyote’s howling, and Elk calls in the night. Beautiful views! We will definitely be camping here again.
