Its like camping in a little Switzerland with tall mountains surrounding the campground. Situated perfectly at the start of the mount Timpanogos hike, which is tough but amazing. The campsite was really great and Sarah the host was super nice. She helped us out finding the perfect spot and checked in every so often to make sure we were all good.

The campground was good but the timpanogos trailhead had extremely noisy young adults/teens that partied from midnight to three am. The party goers also tried to park illegally in the campground right next to our trailer.

A perfect time to visit, excellent weather, no crowd. There was a little road noise and noise from people at the camp/resort area below. The bathrooms were closed but there were portapotties and running water. Cant wait to camp here again!

Everything was great, but two of my reserved campsite didnt have a grill example number 2, also number twos fire pit needs attention but other than that everything was amazing. At check-in I was greeted at the entrance. She was amazing.

Beautiful place with awesome hiking trails very close. Each goes to a stunning waterfall.

Great spot. Close to the Provo and Sundance resort. The zip lining at Sundance mountain resort is a must do.

Camp host was great. Restrooms are broken so only very full porta-potties.

Beautiful. The attendant was particularly pleasant and helpful. The only complaint: The site I chose was in close proximity to the water source and to the restroom. After I set camp I found that both the water and the outhouse were out of order.

Bathrooms were closed but they had honey buckets that were pretty clean. Nice camp host. Some amenities could be updated like picnic tables and fire rings

Great hosts, good sites. If you are worried about wildlife, don't. It is pretty close to the mountain road...but not too close to enjoy some peace and quiet. Loved the availability of firewood and so close to other great things (bridal veil falls short distance away).

Did not realize how on the toast this campsite is but it was fairly quiet overnight. The water had been reported as out but we had running water. However, the bathroom was closed and port-a-potties were all that was available. A large group partying further down did not respect quiet hours which was frustrating but our site was far enough away to tolerate it. Parking space was flat, fire pit was nice and large (no grate/grill for cooking fyi) and the tent space was clear of rocks. Overall a decent campsite in a gorgeous area!

Mt. Timpanogos campsite was great, our site (#20) was pretty big and with some shade in the afternoon. We loved that it was tucked away which gave more privacy.

Get your dang bathrooms working!! Portable biffies are a poor choice even short term, let alone being used for multiple years.Camp host was very nice Thanks!

No Water, No Toilets only Porta Potty's, they opened for the season before they were ready for campers. Entrance gate is locked at 10pm with no outside parking so if you have to leave you cannot comeback, they have tire destroying guards on the exit to make sure of it. Tent site was tiny, tent pad was too small for even a medium size tent, was unlevel with multiple large roots running through it. Firepit and picnic table were both cracked and not maintained. Lots of road noise from traffic running the mountain road large motorcycle groups and wannabe racecars with no mufflers. 0/10 would not recommend.

This campground, while well-situated for Mt Timpanogos hikes, has deteriorated and not been maintained. The concrete fire pits are falling apart, as are the wood guardrails along the roads. All of the bathrooms were out of order, replaced by port-a-potties, which were not checked daily and got disgusting in more active areas. Many of the water spigots lacked handles and were unusable. The good news is that there was plenty of availability on a Tues/Wed in late August.

The campground is very pretty and the views are stunning. Unfortunately it is by the alpine loop road that is well-trafficked even through the night. Loud motorcycles came through even between 12 and 3 am, making for a rough night's sleep

Site was well kept and had two distinct places to pitch a tent. Wood is plentiful, but thicker pieces need to be cut to be able to be burnt in the fire pit. The pit doesnt have a built-in grill. The timoanogos trailhead is across the street which is very convenient.

Beautiful place, only problem is it is loud at night, being so close to the road, and on our last night someone was shooting at each at 1 am on the road not the campground but otherwise good place
@SherylD2B8B726 · Camped on Jun 21, 2024 at Campsite #1
The campground itself is in a beautiful location. Mountain views, lots of shade, a creek, and it's right across the road from the Mt. Timpanogos and Stewart Falls trails. Be aware that it now has portable toilets and no running water. The places to set up your tent are TINY throughout the whole campground. Our 6 man tent barely fit. The sites are also pretty close to one another. I would stay in the campground again but not at site 1. The road noise we went on all night and the headlights from the vehicles shined right in our tent making it difficult to sleep. Bring an eye mask and earplugs if you reserve this one.

Not my favorite campsite very tight and feel ontop of everyone else. Proximity to trailhead cant be beat though

We came in late and the camp host was informative and kind! Really helped walk me through the process and setting up the recreation.gov app! We really made some things difficult for her, but she was so patient and kind! The campground is absolutely beautiful! Loved staying here and will so again!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
