Great location, could hear cars driving around late at night, but we'll come back here. Close to great hikes and tibble fork-would recommend Granite Flat

Camping area was a swamp and we had to set up tents on the parking spots. Due to the swamp, mosquitoes were a plenty. Not easy access to exploring in the woods.

Unfortunately, our specific site had been affected by rising waters in and completely flooded out the double tent site area. We had planned multiple tents from our other campers and 2/3rds of my group was unable to even stay and enjoy the camping due to the inability to utilize the tent sites. I feel that this site should have likely been closed due to the muddy conditions, standing water, and inability to even set tents up at the primary tent site. The camp hosts weren't even a bit concerned about the fact that 2/3rds of my group brought all their gear up to camp that weekend only to find the site unusable.

Beautiful wooded campground nearby that is close to great activities in the canyon. We were in site #1. This site wasn't as wooded as some others, but there is a lot of space for 3-4 large tents and backs up to a secluded little canyon. Most of the area is grassy for the tents so you get a nice soft ground cover. It sits right across the street from the bathrooms/water spigot. The bathrooms were fine, but are dark and smelly. A great spot for a few days of camping.

Leaving only 4 stars because our site (#1) had no natural shade. I prefer to be tucked in the woods & it felt a little bit like a parking lot. The army loop was beautiful though & we searched out preferable sites for next time. We will definitely return! We chose to take the 3 mile (bumpy) dirt road to Silver Lake reservoir after we hiked to it in the morning & found it was a lot less crowded than Tibble Fork. Both very beautiful, but Silver Lake was serene. Camp host was very friendly. We had a great time.

Absolutely wonderful! We loved being in the beauty of the trees. It was quite and peaceful. There was some space in between campsites which allowed for some privacy and more quiet. We loved playing at Tibble Fork Reservoir. The only downside was the insane amount of mosquitos! Do NOT forget bug spray! And use it heavily! My toddler got 10 mosquito bites in the first 15 minutes we were there before putting on bug spray! Other than that, we absolutely loved our time at Granite Flat.

Close to the bathrooms (but they were not very clean). Easy to find. Level places for 2-3 tents. Not much shade during the day, some early morning and late evening. Mosquitos were terrible.
