This campground was great! Our family enjoyed staying here, it is quite large too. We personally enjoyed being in the lower loop more than the upper loops, the lower loop seems less cramped. The only negative thing is that the bathrooms are very stinky, we could smell it throughout our stay any time the wind picked up. And it was all the bathrooms, not just one by us. HOWEVER, the bathrooms are super clean and kept up on! The camp hosts were very nice and informative. We will definitely come back!

Every year the rates per sites go up with the same excuse it is for upkeep and repairs to the park. And for the last 9 years, the same sites need fire rings replaced/repaired. Tables with boards rotting. Although I did see some pretty new signs up at the hosts sites with rules and rates per sites.Check in is set for 3 pm with the reasoning that they need to to prep the sites yet our site still had the firepit full of ashes and even a log that was incompletely burned.

I love granite flats! It is so beautiful and I love being away from it all. We had aite 15 I think. It was perfect for two small tents and felt tucked away with how the trees surrounded us. And it was nice to have a short drive to the reservoir where we enjoyed walking around.

Such a beautiful campground! I just didnt appreciate our site being right next to the camp hosts who ran their generator from 6 am-10pm. It was so loud we couldnt have a normal conversation. And one morning another neighbor was blasting music. I realize all the noise was outside the quiet hours. I had just hoped our trip to the woods would be more peaceful!

Great spot! There are two areas to set up a tent, you can hear the river and I had Verizon cell service. Lots of little trails to explore.

Beautiful views, lots of wildlife out and about. Yes, there are mosquitos; wear spray and cover up. Each of the hosts were very kind and helpful. Bathrooms were always clean.

Loved the campsite. I was able to get firewood, enjoyed a great evening with the family

Stay wasn't that great. This campsite had a lot of mosquitos with the stagnant water near by. I had read a previous review from a few years ago that said it was a problem--I thought maybe the weather was wetter that year, which caused the pooling of stagnant water. NOPE. As long as you prepare for them and know that they will be invited to your party. ENJOY!

Site #14 description is inaccurate. The paved spur is only about 20ft, not 33ft. First picture is of site, all others are of another site. Site has no space for medium size tent, unless you set up on boulders. Small area for a little one person tent. Never met camp hosts for that loop, site said off-duty. Talked with host from another loop, we were told we couldnt change sites even though most of the campground was empty with no shows. Verified with camp ground manager and sites are available after 24hrs of no-shows.

Fantastic campground! Beautiful views, lots of trails for kiddos to exploretoilets! It was a gorgeous, affordable and roomy stay. We will go again. Great for tents and trailer/RVs

Good, clean site. Helpful host. Bathroom as clean as can be expected at these campgrounds. Great time overall.

The poachers were bad. Two different tents were set up late in the evening from outsiders trying to look like they were part of our group. Also lots of strangers kept driving up the road into our parking lot, turning around and leaving. I recommend you close the gate once your group has arrived.

The campground was nice and clean. This one sat back off the road which was a plus. The host came by to remind campers to clean up kitchen supplies to prevent bears in camp. Tent areas were on a slope and didnt sleep well the first night due to slope. The one on the right is a little deceptive. You think the door should face one way but in reality due to slope had to tun the tent to get better sleep and have heads up hill. Someone should flatten these spots. All in all we loved this campground and combined our trip with a visit to the Tibble fork reservoir and Timpanogos Cave.

There are 2 large stagnant pools of water that are a breeding ground for mosquitoes. We had to leave the campground Tree Army #2

For anyone considering using this as a group site: the description of this campsite claims you can fit 100 people, and it shows pictures of flat tent sites across the river from the fire pit area. We assumed this was part of the site as there are only a couple places to put tents on the fire pit side of the river. Many other campground users (at least 5 or 6 families) were using the river access in the middle of our campground. One family using the river brought 3 dogs very close to our tents that were being aggressive towards our dog. When we asked the camp host about this, wanting privacy and assuming since we paid high dollar for the group site that it was our private space- the camp host told us technically only the fire pit side of the river is private camp site. Just be aware that the fire pit side of the river in no way could hold 100 people, probably not even 20 campers. You will be paying high dollar for an expected private group site and having a lot of other campers coming to your site to access the river, near where your tents are set up. I hope this review will encourage the campground managers to clear up the information on the listing or post private signs at the assumed group site. No refund was given when we requested one after our stay.

Water wasnt working and bathrooms were pretty scary. So many flies. Otherwise the place was awesome.

Camp site was clean and had some cutdown trees nearby for firewood. Host was great and kind.

Such a beautiful area with plenty of room between campsites. It was very quiet and such a pleasant area to camp in. We had access to water spigots, which was nice. We didn't use the bathrooms much but they could have been cleaned better. We would definitely go again.

I had the best time and the best night sleep Ive ever had a spot number 19 is my favorite hike. Just passed a fire ring up the hill and then down a bit and there is enough room for two good size tents . We had a killer storm that night and our area stayed safe listening to the creek as I slept. Oh my gosh cant wait to return.

The area is beautiful but not appropriate for large motorhomes or RVs, mine came back scratched up on the right side. Also it's only for dry camping, I wish there was an area with full hook ups. Good for camping or day use, beautiful surroundings and really nice nightscape.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
