Its a simple spot to camp. Im local so it was just an overnight for me. But enjoyable enough.

There was a mix-up in the reservation. I saw the mistake and corrected it, canceling the wrong day. It took a long time to get the program to do that. When I got all pact and to the cam, it was reserved for someone else and said that I had reserved it on the previous day. There were possibly empty camps but no way to figure out which one was empty. (the online tool didn't work in the canyon so we drove to American Fork and tried to reserve another camp. We couldn't get the app to work. We went to the ranger station - nobody was there. We went back to the campground. There were two ranger trailers there, but at two in the afternoon when they were the most important (while people are trying to check in ) they would not answer the door. All in all, none of the camp services turned out to be any good including online. The whole process is completely worthless.

I thought the actual site was too small for the tent I brought. It left me with no choice other than to sleep on an incline.

The host was very welcoming and great. Quiet, and wonderful. Slept like a baby next to the stream.

Spent 3 nights in one of the two Yurts at Little Mill campground up American Fork canyon. The manager and assistant manager at this campground are amazing. The site is well maintained, very clean and they are friendly and so helpful.The canyon is beautiful, and less than 20 minutes from the freeway. Cant go wrong at this campsite!

Great time. Watching rock climbing, kayaking, going on hikes.

We enjoyed this campsite (#8); however, the highway noise but just too much. If you're looking for a little more quiet, choose sites 12-27. The camp hosts were super nice and it was cool to have the river so close. We had no trouble fitting our 26' TT with 22' truck in site #8.

The camp hosts are wonderful. They take very good care of the pit toilet facilities, but I would never stay at this campground again. The road noise is outrageous all times a day. It was impossible to sleep because of the constant noise and motorcycles, trucks, and other vehicles.

Camping here was great other than our camp host golf cart caught on fire if it was not for me and my group noticing we wouldve had a big fire if it wouldve burned for another minute or two the golf cart wouldve blew up, but overall, it was a good experience

We had a good time as a group. The campsites are on the small side and very close together. The camp host was extremely rude to our group, and other guests.
@TamaraK10BB3E2 · Camped on Jul 9, 2024 at Campsite #22
very clean campground, lots of shade, and friendly campground hosts. It is right next to a busy road but the river helps drown out the noise, well except the motorcycles but thats not the campgrounds fault. The road in was partially washed out so we were a little nervous driving our dually truck past but it was ok. Close to Timpanogos Cave which was nice and there was a beautiful river walk along the river.

I reserved the group site over a year ago. The forest service/vendor obviously knew it would be closed due to damage but happily took my money. 8 months later I was given a refund but certainly without any interest. The forest service needs to repair the site or take it off the list.

Overall we had a wonderful time. But we were quite surprised to find spot 10 isnt really a spot more of a park on the side of the road spot next to your picnic table. also, I order for your RV door to not open to the road you have to turn around and go the wrong way, which is difficult because you cannot enter in the exit because of the tires spikes. It would be great if this was in the description. Best suited for those without kids because theres not really any designated spot for them to play thats not also the road. The area between spot 9&10 is a great place for the kids to play by the river while surprised, but Im not sure which campsite the area belongs to. We were very fortunate in that spot 9 was empty, because like I mentioned, the only place for a kid to play in spot 10 is the road. This is a great spot for listening to the river. The sound from the road it quite loud but not to bothersome.

This is the loudest campground I've ever been to! I know a lot of that was out of their control: a raging river, a busy highway, but they really need to make a rule that you're not allowed to run generators ALL DAY! Yes, they finally turned it off at 10pm, but do they really need to run them all day? There really should be set hours. The drinking water was also off, and it would have been nice to get a warning about that beforehand. The vault toilet bathrooms were just okay. They kept the floor swept, but what about the walls and ceilings?! There were so many huge spiders, my daughter almost refused to ever go to the bathroom. This was not our best campout, but not our worst either. They just have some kinks to work out!

Campground was clean and tidy; host was friendly and maintained order. The campground itself is very narrow; all sites are close to the road and close to each other, with the exception of the (more expensive) glamping sites which are the best sites by far. If you explore behind the sites, to the south, there are tons of interesting rock formations: dont miss the chance to explore all around Sliding Rock, clearly marked. At the end of the campground, heading East, is a paved trail; we really enjoyed exploring up that way. Campground was quiet after 10 and bathrooms were very neat - but bring your own hand sanitizer. Sites did not have water spigots. Firewood is available at the host site for about $10/bundle, although we saw some families with hacksaws cutting their own further up the trail. Due to the road noise & relative closeness of each campsite, well probably head further into the canyon next time we camp up AF, but it was a pleasant and enjoyable time. Full marks to the host.

Clean and quiet campground, especially in sites 1-9. There is noise from the road, but it is mostly covered by river noise. Vault toilets were extremely well maintained. Camp hosts are professional.

We love Little Mill. It can be a noiser camp site because of the busy canyon road, but we've always enjoyed our stay here. The camp hosts do an excellent job taking care of the facilities there and its always fun to visit with them. It will be nice when the Forest Service can fix the lower group spot. Walking the trail is always a nice part of our stay and with the road out, you aren't able to access the lower half.

Our stay was very pleasant. The host assisted us in guiding our trailer into our camp site. They even checked up on us to see how we were doing during our stay. We definitely enjoyed our time there.

We loved it here! We tried the yurt which was SO worth it because it was a wet and muddy weekend. It was so nice to have beds already set up for us. The campsite itself was great. We spent a few hours at Tibble Fork Reservoir just a mile or so up the road. Great place to kayak or paddle board! Would have been better if it wasn't so muddy. The only reason I didn't give this site 5 stars is because it is so close to the road so we could hear cars and loud motorbikes driving past all night long. Otherwise great stay for a family with young kids. Our 4 year old son especially loved the "rock land" he discovered - so many huge rocks to climb and explore! It's also right next to the river where our kids loved to throw pebbles.

Beautiful place. Well maintained and so so beautiful. Being by the river was a dream! The owners are so friendly and attentive to whatever you need. This will be our summer family spot for sure.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
