More attention needs to be directed towards use of gas operated generators. I have a generator that is some what quiet but as I realize that it can be heard in the next campsite I do not run it for more than fifteen to twenty minutes at any given time and no more than twice daily. There are some inconsiderate campers that will actually bring their electric smokers and run there generators for hours, (five to eight). There are some generators that are extremely quiet that I don’t have a problem with. Those who have a generator like mine are who I’m addressing. I realize that there are quiet hours however if a camper needs or wants to run a generator for more than a short period of time during the day they should be restricted to using a generator that cannot be heard by their camping neighbor. The camp host did make an effort to tell the person who has promoted this letter but was limited as there is only the quiet hour rule that they could use to prevent the noise. I have a right to an enjoyable time camping as well and I do not think that listening to a generator for several hours is an enjoyable time. Please consider rules for people who use generators to respect others desire for minimal use of a generator. Thank you.

We liked the campsite and the facilities. So as far as a place to camp goes we are going to try it again. However, it rained heavily as soon as we got there and we had a propane incident so we decided to leave early.

All in all, it was a fun and enjoyable trip for my family. The only things that bothered us were things outside of the camp host's (and your) control. The river was low. Smoke from the CA fires, etc. We had a great time and will be coming back again.

Best place we have ever camped. We would have booked for the next time we want to go camping but it was already reserved. I guess popular too!

Love this place to kick back and relax. The camp host Stew was amazing. I've never seen a busier, more through host than Stew. He was friendly and helpful and you can tell he loves what he is doing. If there is a problem he takes care of it and does a fantastic job of keeping the place under control. Southfork is a great place for those who want to float down the river or just relax in camp and listen to nature. This is our go to place to stay when going to the Ogden Valley Balloon Festival. This year is was cancelled but we still went up to Southfork to relax for a couple of days.
