Great location, well maintained.

The campground is nice and spacious overall. However we were disappointed in upkeep. Much ground cover in campsites could be easily cleared out for better, more spacious parking. Also there are uneven concrete surfaces at some sites that need attention. A definite trip hazard. Finally, it was very disappointing to not have the restrooms in working order. Of note to Recreation.gov : the map on your site is grossly incorrect in respect to site locations and parking spurs. We were misled as to the parking at the site we selected. Please address.

This is a beautiful campground tucked in a dense forest. Most of the spots have room, so we didn't feel like we were right on top of our neighbors. The bathrooms are portables, but they were clean. It is a short walk to the lake with opportunities to hike around the lake or up into the hills. We also hiked from the campground on another gorgeous trek.

I came up for alone time and to fish. I did both and it was wonderful.

Beautiful campground that has unfortunately failed to receive the maintenance it deserves.

We love Tony Grove!

Site 18 is not a good site. It is small, has uneven ground and sun shines through the day and evening. The occupants in the neighboring sites kept walking through our area. Other people were lighting fire despite a notice by the camp host prohibiting campfires.

Such a beautiful spot. The toilets closest to this site were closed so you either had to walk or drive to the nearest one. This site is a better fit for a tent with a smaller footprint for the area that is leveled.

Beautiful location, plenty of trees for hammocks, sufficient parking. Only two bathrooms were open and it was a long walk to an operating bathroom. No water available.

Campsites were beautiful, shaded and well maintained. Also the camp host Tami was the sweetest! She helped us out and was so fun with our kids. They got excited any time she drove by in her golf cart.

A wonderful Alpine location in Utah at 8000ft. The location is absolutely one of the best I have even visited in Utah. It really is impressive, especially if you prefer the Alpine experience over the Red Rock one. The campground is on the small side as are most of the sites. We have a 17ft trailer and could find perhaps 7-8 sites that would work for us. 16B was one of the very best. 17B was bigger and really nice as well. The website claims that sites such as 5-9 are double wide, but they are not. The bathrooms were clean and useful, but no flush toilets or running sinks were available. Also no hookups, water/electric/sewer were included. They closed the bathroom closest to our site and replaced them with Portalets which were very clean. The hosts were ever present and helpful. The bugs were not a problem in late August. We would absolutely go back again.

The lake was a quick walk from camp. With many pretty hikes in the area. With lots of wild flowers. Campsite had a few spots to set up tents, and nice and quiet.

This was a fun place to camp. The bathrooms were clean. The campsite was clean. There is no way to control who your neighbor will be but that is the same wherever you camp. The ground keepers were grumpy and not very helpful but as long as you don't ask them questions and stay out of their way your good! We will come back to camp here. Hopefully there will be different ground keepers next year.

This place is great, and Mitch and Tami are the best campground hosts I've encounteredEVER! I highly recommend the campground!

We have been camping at Tony Grove for over 20 years and the camp hosts this year, Tami and Mitch, were the best we have ever worked with. They were helpful, friendly, and thorough in caring for the campground and its guests. It made a great time at Tony Grove so much better. I hope they are there next year.

We stayed at site 5, mid July 2024.This campground is very pretty and full of wildflowers. Spaces are set far apart, which is nice. I don't know if it was because this site is next to the bathroom, or just the time of year, but the flies were unbearable in the morning and early afternoon. Our neighbors in site 6 were wearing bug nets, and we wished we had some too. Site was clean, shady, and spacious, although the parking spur is short and I don't think a car+trailer or even an RV by itself would fit at this site. The fireplace and table were both in good condition. The toilets were clean. Temperatures were about 20 degrees lower than in Salt Lake, which was wonderful.

We love Tony Grove. We try to make a trip up there at least once a year. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because it is so hard to make reservations. The alerts dont seem to work and there are almost no dates available. Other this place is the best camping experience I have ever had.

Beautiful campground, lots of shade. Our site #13 was a little difficult because it's on a hill. Getting our tent and chairs level was a bit difficult. The lake is gorgeous and we could walk just a bit to it from our site. There is no running water and the bathrooms around our site were not working. So we had to use outhouses. We'd camp here again for sure, just at a different site that is level and not on a hill.

Clean site, flushing toilets, great location!
@KyleH8971372 · Camped on Jun 28, 2024 at Campsite #11
The campsite was great, and the short walk to the lake was perfect. Only issue with the campground was the people. A campsite close by was up playing music and being very loud past midnight, and I was greeted in the morning by the distinct smell of someone smoking weed. I just wish that if people are going to camp in a designated campground that you respect the people around you. Let's all help each other to have a good time.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
