It has been over 2 years since we visited Sharp Creek. Very nice campground. Clean restrooms and very quiet .

The sites are very small, open and close together (not a lot of privacy). Upon arriving we asked a couple of the workers if we could set up our tent anywhere on our site and they said yes (we even confirmed where we were going to put the tents) after we set up our entire campsite the hosts come by and inform us that we need to move all of our tents into the tent pad (super small area and super close to the fire and picnic table) so we had to empty everything out of our tents and move them, play puzzle trying to fit everything in the tent pad etc. we will not be returning.

We LOVED our stay at Sharp Creek. We stayed a total of 10 days and absolutely enjoyed ourselves. It is peaceful, quiet, and very clean (probably the cleanest outhouses in the US!) and well kept. The hosts are friendly and do a great job of checking you in. While there are no trails from this camp ground, trails are close by. I highly recommend starting off of highway 260 (just a few minutes from the camp, driving) to "Trailhead 260". From there, you can enjoy a couple of different trails. Go early since it can get warm, even in the late fall. If you want quiet tranquility this is it, esp through the week. On the weekend, you do get more visitors and sometimes you hear generator noises, but overall, a pleasant experience.

Sharp Creek is a wonderful place to camp. Spacious sites with asphalt pads, metal picnic table, firepit and BBQ grill. Spotless vault toilets and water spigots spaced every 3 or 4 sites. Donna and Sam are great camp hosts and keep whole campground spotless, including cleaning picnic tables. Close to nice lakes, Payson and Heber.
Love to camp there.
