We love this campground, especially the tent only area but the cleaning of the bathrooms was subpar this visit. The vault toilets could have been scrubbed on the inside and outside better. They also seemed to be quite full which is concerning seeing that this was only May. There should be signs in there asking people to close the lid and maybe an air freshner would be nice. We did have toilet paper although it was pretty close sometimes and the trash was emptied each day. Usually camp hosts stop by and check in but we never saw them. The campsite next to us had a campfire going despite there being fire restrictions which wasn't enforced in this particular instance.

Large and well spaced campsites. Clean bathroom. You could hear the highway but that was the only downside and it would not stop me from staying again.

We havent camped at Sharp Creek for almost 5 years. Was not as happy with this latest experience. The Pine (tent only) loop is very close together. For site 5 you actually have to walk about 50 yards away from the road and your parking spot while passing between site 4 and 6 which is really awkward when the sites are filled. If you have alot of gear its a haul. There are also no bear boxes (which we knew ahead of time) but that makes every night/morning/day trip more labor intensive when the site is so far from the parking spot. It also makes it much further from the toilet that way which might be a good thing as the facilities were not very clean and smelled significantly. The ladies toilet was also out of TP for a full 24 hours while we were there even though the hosts drove by multiple times during that timeframe.

Campsites are EXTREMELY close to one another. Campground staff was extremely rude and overbearing. Dogs have to be on leashes the whole time. Would not recommend this campsite to anyone.

My family and I had a wonderful first visit to this camp site. It was clean and quiet and the camp hosts are so extremely friendly and welcoming! We will definitely go back. Lots of hiking area to explore around the site. Easy drive to Horton Creek for a great hike and splash in the creek. Highly recommended!
