The vault toilets smelt so bad that the whole campground smelt and as a result i left a day early. Have not had this problem at other campgrounds

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. We just had one interaction with the staff and they seemed friendly as well as strict on rules. They will require you to keep all tires of both car and trailer on the driveway of the site, so make sure you chose a site that will work for you in that regard. Also, there are just pit toilets here, no showers (at least in the area where we were). Very clean though and a nice place.

Great campsite next to the creek! Hosts were friendly and facilities were in good shape. Highly recommended!

The campground is outstanding, but the fact that noisy radios and generators are allowed 24 hours a day is inexcusable. My neighbors played loud music all day (allowed) and the minute they turned it off they turned on a very noisy generator. The campground host said there sadly was no rule against such inconsiderate behavior. The pleasant relaxation in nature that I was hoping for was a disaster.

What a beautiful place! And I was lucky enough to pick a great spot. Far too many people close together for me personally but I would go again as I am able to encapsulate myself. Close to my home too. And no wind! The bathroom situation could be better however. You have to use the restroom when it feels like it's in another person's campsite or you have to walk through campsites. If it were spread out it would be Heaven on Earth.

What an amazing place! Quick and easy drive from the East Valley! I went up with my dog for the day and we had the best time. Cell service is excellent (T-Mobile) so if you need to check in with your electronics you can. Clean bathroom facilities. Super clean campsites. Pippa loved playing in the Creek and taking long walks. While hiking around I found a bear print in the mud - so they are around. Roger is very knowledgeable and so friendly! I can't wait to go back!

We love Christopher Creek. As far as we are concerned it is Paradise. The moderate weather and riparian habitat are a huge draw. No wonder so many love it here. There are so many great hiking and fishing opportunities right in the campground area and nearby. Horton Creek, See Canyon, and the Rim Lakes. The Campground Hosts, Roger and Ellen, keep the place so clean and well run. They are the best. It is a pleasure having them come around. We can't wait for our next visit.

Most of the sites are spacious and cleared out nicely. The large pines make for nice partial shade during the day. Some of the sites on the hillside have a slope that would make tent camping uncomfortable. Our site #25 was next to the creek. The pit toilets were kept clean and stocked. The water was good and cold. The camp host was attentive and helpful and he checked on campers a few times a day to see if they needed anything.

Roger and Ellen are the best. We have camped at Christopher Creek since 1978. Our favorite place. The current hosts are great. Please keep them. Not since George and Ruby Stolz have you had a finer crew. Thanks for keeping Christopher Creek up to snuff. I have to say we are not fans of this new all reservation system. Roger went above and beyond to help us book on our phone when we arrived. Not that convenient when the cell is out of range and we are not so good with the phone anyway. Roger was very patient.
