Excellent time my wife and I planned another trip already for October and looking forward to fishing up at Woods Canyon Lake

The site was beautiful but there are a ton of flies (I’m thinking due to cattle around the camp). The camp host was very unhelpful at answering questions and couldn’t seem to give direction when asking about booking another spot that is FF (first come first served) I was wanting. He proceeded to tell me the camp was full when in fact it was not full (the signage at the exterior of camp would’ve said full), and then I showed him how on recreation.gov it said the site I was in was available to book for another day and he continued to tell me how I couldn’t camp there another day because it was reserved. After asking for who to contact about the issue he directed me to “the billboard at the host site” so after I made phone calls him and his wife came to our camp and said that we could stay. The situation was handled very poorly. After paying to camp another night I was due $3 for change and the woman said they would be back, and he proceeded to say “who’s to say I’ll come back over here again.” Just very unprofessional and a unpleasant experience with the hosts. We go camping frequently and this was disappointing to me.
