We have been camping at CC a couple times a year for the last few years. When we arrive, our site is clean, fire pit shoveled out and we are ready to set up. This time, we had a total 5 sites for our family (the group site was booked-but empty) when we arrived, I was shocked by how overgrown everything was. I understand that it is camping, in the woods, however, if you are paying to stay at a "managed" campground, it should look managed. Some of the grass and weeds were higher than my knee. The fire pits were not shoveled (we had to ask for ours to be shoveled as it was at least 3 inches high of ash-and we forgot our shovel) we also had to pick up trash..We love CC and will continue to stay here, but I think maybe the new hosts should do a bit more managing/cleaning the sites and a bit less driving around the loops, in an effort to maintain what CC "used" to be like.

We had a fantastic time at this camp ground. The restrooms were very well kept up with. The hosts were all very nice and willing to help. The creek was beautiful. Will definitely be camping here again. Lots of very close things to see as well.

We just bought our camper and this was our first weekend out! I grew up on Christopher creek and it didnt disappoint. Beautiful campgrounds with the cleanest facilities. Roger and his wife are great people and take the time to make sure you have a great experience! We booked our next trip before we left!

First off, the hosts of loop B are absolutely wonderful, kind, helpful and fun! They alone likely keep people coming here again and again :)
The reason for the 3 star review is based solely on the campsite we ended up booking... sorry, but we do not recommend site 32 in loop B!
We were directly next to a bathroom that was cleaned consistently, but still stunk nonetheless. We had to park the camper on pavement that was also directly next to another camper. Our fire pit was located directly in front of the other camper. Very weird set up that left us feeling a lack of privacy and awkward because our campfire smoke was blowing right in their camper!! We are convinced we had the absolute worst site in the park :(
I did love the campground and beautiful creek, after seeing some other sites, but I would never book site 32B again.
Do your research and choose a good site which could make or break your experience.
