The camp hosts were very friendly. We enjoyed all the wildlife. I appreciated the bear box.

Christopher Creek is great! We went to Woods Canyon Lake for a day, rented a 5-person motor boat, tried to fish. The elevation means it's colder there and also the sun is closer and therefore more danger of sunburn. The creek at Christopher Creek is lovely! We hiked along it one day and played in it another. The only issue was a lot of hornets around our site, making food preparation and eating at camp unpleasant. We played frisbee golf, four-square, cards, and hiked up the mountain to build a fort. We also met some great people! It was a wonderful and relaxing time!

our site was good it was a little hard to fit our 11 ft. trailer but we made due.. Rodger and Ellen were amazing as camp hosts very hard workers the spot and grounds were clean as well as the bathrooms and the light in the bathroom was an added bonus . Rodger found out how much my wife loved Smokey Bear ,so he gave her a Smokey badge.

We had such a great trip! The campground was clean, the bathrooms well maintained, and the hosts were awesome! Our campsite was about 45 steps to the creek which was beautiful.. We had so much fun at the Bear Talk and learned so much about the animals in Arizona. They had pelts and skulls for about 9 or 10 animals, it was so interesting. What a great campground. We will be back.

The best part was the camp host and their presentation to the kids about local animals. Our son learned so much and was so excited to hear the stories and facts about animals. I have never been to a camp site with such and amazing educational program. Thank you!!

The host with the squeaky red truck (forgot his name) was so amazing!!! He helped us jump start our car and had cheap ready to go firewood for sale when stage 2 fire restrictions were lifted, the site had clean “bathrooms” and pretty decent cell service!! Love this place, new camping spot for sure!

Very nice campground, quiet, clean and a nice spot. More for tents than trailers, but there are spots you can use. Big shout out to Roger who was fantastic, you can tell he takes pride in the campground and making sure his guests feel welcomed, I certainly did!

Our "30 ft paved driveway" site, for a 22ft trailer, ended up being ~30ft of extended wide road, on a curve, in front of a hillside campsite. Not idea and certainly not what we expected, but we made it work for a couple nights. PLEASE revisit descriptions, recreation.gov The site was clean and camp host was very friendly and attentive! We'll go back, but we'll find a different spot next time!

What a great campground. Everything is spaced out. The bathrooms are the cleanest we've seen camping and the hosts are amazing. Although the water levels were low we asked about fishing for the kids and the host gave us great places along the creek to go and also told us about box canyon which was an incredible hike and easy for young kids. We will definitely be back.
