Absolutely gorgeous spot. Bison all but walked into our campsite. Absolutely must stay here if in the area.

Nice campground, although could use a dump station. Rec.gov showed the campground as almost full with few available sites when I booked. That was wrong. There were many empty sites.

Had reservations for #13 but was a bit small for our 31ft class C towing a Jeep. Moved to pull through spot #12 next day. Carefully read site descriptions. Some spots small & some large. Had a visit from a Buffalo right in our campsite one afternoon! Stayed 4 nights and had plenty of time to see what we wanted.

I enjoyed staying at Cottonwood Campground. I always prefer to stay inside the National Park if available. I was tent camping and the site was great as far as room and distance from other campers. The hike to the bathroom was a bit much for any trips after dark.

Worst campsite ever. Trailer door right on main road. Site way too small. Roads were closed. Not returning soon.

Incredible campsite with delightful staff. I went during the summer and it filled up right quick but it was worth it. It's a clean and well kept campsite with decent lots. I solo tent camped and the lot I had was absolutely perfect and felt fairly private.

Nice campground! Away from highway. Get your own firewood prior to enter the park, theres one place that sells it in town so plan ahead.
