Camp sites spread out so that youre not right on top of your neighbors. Easy reservation.

Restrooms and showers not clean and could really use an overhaul. Staff very friendly.

Two factors stand out as enhancing the experience at Fox. First, most (unfortunately not all) of the RV sites are VERY large with large separations between sites to minimize noise and maximize space for entertaining. Second, RV sites are very level, requiring a minimum amount of time to setup. Unfortunately, our last stay at Fox was marred by 3 loose dogs (or drop off's) which required two weeks to corral and retrieve by Animal Control; their leavings, noise, and harassment a thing of the past. But that was a one-off problem which should not be repeated. Our kayaking tour of the lake was delightful, and we look forward to continuing during our next visit.

Beautiful park! Campsites are easy access and set up very well. We would have gladly given a 5 star review if it were not for the condition of the Bathhouse facilities....The facilities are fine as far as what is offered (shower/toilet) the MAJOR issue was the condition....FILTHY AND UNKEPT the Entire Week we camped. There is No Excuse for this. We know the unpredictability of the campers in the park at any given time, however, there is staff onsite and the monitoring and cleaning of these facilities CAN be adjusted to keep them clean(er). We are hoping our next visit is better and we can give a 5 star review....

It's okay. Not a lot of shade if it's hot. Had to endure a spot next to "campers" with 4 tents, a bouncy house, and some other pavilion tent. Lots of noise. Hopefully an isolated incident. But the people that go there are not really camping it's more of a party place with lots of cars and people being loud and dogs barking. But that was on a weeked.

I don't know why the Park allows people that fish on the pier to bring 5-6 rods apiece. They come early and stay all day. They cover the fishing pier when there's two or three people fishing that way. The Rangers should only allow 2 rods per person.. I've seen people get into arguments.. And if theres alcohol involved there will be people hurt., It'll be all on the Rangers .

I made a reservation here because I had planned on buying a camper but I didnt. I did check out the camp site and thought that I would of enjoyed staying the night as the sites are not close together and there is a lot of privacy. I would if had a peek a boo view of the lake. Once I buy my camper I will make another reservation and stay a couple of nights.

The sites were large with nice shade shelter but it would be nice if they trimmed down some of the brush leading to the lake so you can see the lake

Was not very clear on the website that the beach and "day use" area would be closed during the off season. Also sign on the bathroom read that it was only being cleaned on Sat, Sun, and Mon. Had I known this I would have not come to camp overnight on a Thursday. Otherwise, campgrounds were very nice.

When trying to reserve our site weeks in advance, the website showed all but two sites booked. When we arrived there were very few sites being used. I'm not sure this is a website issue but it's happened to us before. Also, the camp grounds and fishing pier area were very littered. We're expected to pick up after ours dogs but what about trash? Shouldn't the rules apply there too? This has always been one of our favorite places to RV but it's quickly moving down the list.

Loved our campsite, lots of space between sites and an easy hike down to the lake. The fishing pier was nice, didn't catch anything though. The restrooms could have been lots cleaner and were in need of some maintenance. The showers were nice and water was warm. Would definitely go back. Easy drive to Taylor and Georgetown.
