We love this park and stay here a couple of times a year.Unfortunately for my wife the T-Mobile cell coverage is quite poor.

The park was ok. The water pressure is on the low side (this creates issues with a tankless water heater). I also purchased an annual pass, but have been there multiple times and have been unable to get my plackard. The gate attendant never has the passes. Other locations (Belton Lake) will not acknowledge the annual pass without the plackard and state I must return to Wilson Fox to get the plackard. DO NOT PURCHASE AN ANNUAL PASS FROM THIS LOCATION IF YOU VISIT OTHER PARKS!

Everything was good except for the restrooms. The restroom that is in the middle of the park was disgusting and there was no way you could use it. The other restroom only has one shower that works on the men's side. Everything else was ok.

I was rather disappointed with the site (#6) we were in. The site was riddled with trash left over from what looked to be a child's birthday party or something similar. There was even pink and blue silly string everywhere. Bits of trash all around the picnic table and in the fire pit. I wish people would show a lot more respect for these camp grounds and other people in general. Other than the complete disrespect the previous campers showed for this site, the overall experience wasn't bad. There was access to the lake from this site through a trail back through the woods but the bank it ends up at was very small and inclined so putting a chair out there to fish was not really feasible.Site #6 is slightly unlevel. It is high at the front and angles downward towards the rear of the site. Power was really good. The shade in this site was great in the evenings and mornings until about 9am when the sun comes up over the trees. During the day there is no shade above you so an awning or easy up is a good idea. There is plenty of wildlife in the area right now (October). We had several deer and all kinds of birds visit us. An armadillo even explored around the tree line just behind us. It was fun to watch.I have always come back to Wilson Fox park, have been for a very long time. Just wish people would treat this park with respect and that the COE would give this park some much needed attention for future generations to enjoy.

Really enjoyed the garbage in the woods left by prior "Campers". A really nice touch was the trash in the Fire Pit! The park itself is nice and pretty quiet. From time to time you'll get to enjoy other pleasant campers who bring there dogs to bark.. and bark.. and bark Conculsion: NIce Park 90% of other campers are great! 10% treat the place like a landfill.

This is a nice little park close to Austin. The park hosts were nice and came around to give us our window stickers since several of our group came in after the booth had closed the night before. The camping area is gated and we received the code by email ahead of time. Most of the spots are pretty level with the exception of just a few. It was nice to see so many families out enjoying camping. My dogs and I stayed in site 6 for a week. Cell phone signals are weak on this side, but I have a booster so I was still able to work.

This is a quiet little park off the beaten trail. Our group of 3 fifth wheel campers only stayed here one night while en route to south Texas. The gravel sites were spacious and mostly level, however, my site, #6, had a significant slope, front to back. While I was able to level the trailer with the automatic levelers, they were most definitely at the maximum of travel in the rear. Most definitely will keep this place in mind for future stays, especially for longer periods of time.

Overall a nice campground with plenty of spaces beside of the lake. Most spots have at least some shade trees plus covered picnic tables. Most sites are back-in but there are a few pull-throughs. All looked like they had water and electric in the camping area , not sure about the day use area. The group shelter areas are nice which would be a good option for large family gatherings. Bathrooms did seam a bit dated and dirty. Verizon worked but we had to use our cell booster. Alot of OTA TV channels. We will stay here again for sure

Had a very nice relaxing weekend. Campsite was spacious and not too close to other campers with close access to the water for fishing. Gate host was freindly and helpful. Bout the only negative thing I have is that the restroom facilities needed some cleaning.

I really like the layout of the park. But if you need to go to there restrooms, beware they are in poor shape and very dirty. Also had a couple of dogs running loose around are campsite.

We enjoyed our stay, but it was disappointing to see as much litter as we did at the campsite, some of which appeared to have been there and mowed over a few times. It just makes you wonder why people can't pick up after themselves! The trailer pad was level and all staff that we dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. All in all it was a great weekend and we liked the park. I just wish some previous campers had more respect for the campgrounds and other campers - how hard is it to put all trash where it belongs?
