We went down there with three other families renting three separate sites. I understand that there was a holiday but what I don't think is okay is for the bathrooms to not have any toilet paper at all. We should have been notified everyone who was there for Thanksgiving that there would be no one too clean. The restrooms that were disgusting, overflowing, and most of all, no toilet paper at all. All totally unacceptable for all the families that were camping. For days. We also tried to call the core phone number and it was busy non-stop. I think someone needs to do better!

The bathrooms could use a good cleaning.

We arrived before the time to check in (3:00). We were meeting other family that day at the swimming area around the cove. When we entered there was no attendant in the entrance booth. So, we passed on thru figuring the attendant would come around to check us in later. We spent the day with family & later in the day we were ready to go to the cabin, but we did not know the combination to the lock on the cabin. We went to the front gate house & nobody was still there. We checked at the attendant's trailer & still no one. We were finally able to see an attendant driving around later & were able to get into the cabin. The rest of the day/evening & next day/evening was uneventful. The following morning, we were woken with a heavy rainstorm. The cabin had a large leak in one corner of the cabin that wet our clothes & other things we had in that corner. We have been coming to the same cabins for maybe four years & have never had this problem & it has previously rained for days at these same cabins. We also made mention to the attendant about the ceiling fan not working in the cabin. We were told that "a work order had been made." The restrooms as well were not as well maintained as on our previous visits. One of the restrooms had a toilet stuck on flush the whole time or run constantly the two 1/2 days we were there as well as another toilet had the same problem. The toilet paper had run out or was wet. We have always had a great time at this park & never had these issues. It seemed the amount of care for this park has dropped a bit. We will give it ago still in the near future hoping that it has been upgraded to the previous standards we have experienced in the years prior to this one. The parks had never disappointed before, so we were surprised. We had a great time otherwise in the swimming area & met some great people as well. The starry evenings did not disappoint as well as the curious wildlife that tried to visit us in late evening as we sat outside our cabin. TY

GREAT park! Great Host.
HORRIBLE cell service! I know that's not their fault, but my AT&T service was barely there-unable to work.

Always enjoy this park. It was windy so it was nice having screened shelter to go to.

Had a great time the first day! but when I booked a second time we never made it to the check in it was before 12 when I cancelled the reservation and I had just made one at like 9-10. It said I could not get a refund or the lady I called she said she would put in a ticket. Im still waiting for my refund of $36 bc we did not end up staying a second time!

Have been going here for years but this year was our first with a travel trailer. This place has been a part of many great memories with our family. And this last one was the best yet.

Only complaint is the restrooms could use more attention

Beautiful campsites, we had a site with a screen in shelter, it was very clean and we really enjoyed it.
And the Park attendants were the best.

Our family loves to come here! This is the 2nd year that weve had our family reunion at this park. We use the shelters and tents as well. We do scavenger hunts, rock painting, tug-of-war, volleyball, bike riding, fishing and playing in the lake, and lots of campfire chats and smores-making! Lovely, family-friendly Park!

We have been camping at Granger Lake for 15 years now. We have always had a excellent experience no mater happens. Great fishing no matter where you fish at. Make sure to visit all the parks and the dam . My kids use to ride their bikes on the trails not sure if they still exist but they have some very interesting stories on those trails.

We stayed at campsite 48 which is a shelter and we love that you can close the windows to keep the wind from coming in. The wind still came in the uncovered door and we tried to put plastic up but the wind was so strong it kept blowing it apart. We were still impressed with it tho. We were disappointed that you can't get down to the water to fish or have a picnic at the picnic tables cause they are all closed off. We expected the swimming area to be closed due to the weather. The only thing opened was the fishing dock and it was to far for us to walk down to because of our age and health. The grandkids got tired of staying at the campsite the whole time and wanted to be able to run down to the water. We wish that part of the picnic tables had been open and we could have fished with the grandkids at the water where we could walk to because of our age and health. The part where you could dock the boats were open but we don't have a boat. Just didn't seem as much fun having to just stay at our campsite and the older grandkids did not want to go to the playground. We just wish you could open up some of the picnic tables and the grassy area where we could fish besides at the long walk to the fishing dock. Thank you, Judy
