Beautiful sites right on the water or secluded in treed areas. Overall, highly recommend this campground for its beauty & general upkeep. Also, my site had many beautiful deer coming & going & a nice view of the water. My only complaint was that the men's shower by space 71 was not nearly hot enough, especially considering the chilly temps! I took one mostly cold shower Multiple requests were made to increase the temperature. It never got hot hot enough even after pressing the "timed" on button multiple times. I was told to try a different bath house that had a faucet that remained "on" - which defeats the purpose of getting a site next to " facilities ". Additionally, I did find and try the recommended facility and it wasn't hot enough either. Also, it had rained and my site bath house had paved access while the others did not.

I feel the park is going down over the past 5 years. They need to trim some trees for big rigs and eliminate political flags.

We were in site 71 for two nights. We camped in a 44 motorhome. The site slopes back and required slight levelling. Nothing major but to use the jacks I needed to level. Shade was decent but not as good as some.

We love this park. It's clean and not rowdy. Everyone is restful with noise, it has showers with very warm water. I actually had a flat on my pop-up on Saturday morning when I woke up and Anderson was so gracious to help me get it changed. The park hosts are very nice and helpful.

Bathroom and shower facility needs a high pressure cleaning every week. No excuse for the condition they are in

The campground did not allow for golf carts. This is completely up to them, however, I feel that driving a golf cart vs. my large diesel truck would greatly reduce the traffic on the roads as well as make them safer for my kids to ride their bikes on. My removal of 1 star is because the rules were not posted anywhere online. I read the rules and regs, I went to every website that I could go to, however, nothing mentioned that golf carts were not allowed. Subsequently I brought the cart, then when checking in I saw a hand written note on the window stating that golf carts were not allowed. If you have rules that need to be followed, you have to post the rules. There were 2 other campers who also brought carts that weekend. They did not find the rules either. PLEASE POST THE RULES ON THE WEBSITE WHEN RESERVING THE SITE!

We had no problem getting our reservation for the first night. We needed to add a second night and I tried diligently to do so on my cell phone. I had all kinds of problems and the website showed that our site was taken for the second night. We hooked up our 5th wheel and came back to the house where I was able to book a second night with no problem on my laptop. We went back to the campground and set up camp again at a different site. It was a hassle to say the least and the original site that we were not able to book was never occupied the 2nd night we were there. Surely there is a better way to handle this type of situation.

Very courteous staff and good facility.! One criticism....trees surrounding pads are too low, they are oak and will destroy roof items such as shrouds....yep...got mine too
