This New Years Eve getaway was our first time camping at Jim Hogg Park. The campsites were great in spite of needing some repaying of many of the parking pads. Otherwise everything was wonderful.

Love Jim Hogg. Sites are spread out and everything was clean. Site 41 was not very level left to right.

The park is amazing and the park hosts are very helpful and friendly. The bathrooms are Disgusting! They are not cleaned at all.

Jim Hogg is one of our favorite parks. Lots of sites with water views and spacious campsites. It's a great location with access to many amenities in Georgetown and surrounding area. They have recently added 50 amp service to many of the sites (I think the plan it to do the entire park). We do not use the public restrooms or showers so we can' comment.

Each time weve stayed at Jim Hogg, its been an excellent experience. The hosts are always friendly, helpful, and available. The campers this time were very quiet especially it being New Years Eve and dayno fireworks or kids running around making mischief. It was truly a wonderful experience once again.

The park was clean, bathrooms could use a little extra help in cleaning it. The water was low due to drought conditions but the weather was absolutely perfect, sun and light winds most of the two weeks we were here. Didnt see much of the park hosts during that time. They did drive thru looking at the passes or delivering passes that were not picked up. Gate house is only manned Friday-Sunday. There are two gate codes, one for the main gate after hours and one that allows you into the camping area. This is really a nice, quiet park, lots of deer to see.

Camped here several times this time we had a great view of water ,it was a very windy weekend but that didn't effect our stay at all

Park was good. Unfortunately, older woman host was very rude and accusatory. Most rude park host I've ever encountered. Also informed same host that the handicap shower in bathhouse was missing a showerhead. Her response, "That happens."

It’s peaceful and beautiful. We like parking where we can see the lake. It’s conveniently located to shopping, downtown Georgetown, with many sites to see and places to go.

Jim Hogg is our favorite camp ground. Spacious clean site. Fire rings. Covered picnic table shelter. Sunset over the water. Making new friends. Friendly staff that patrols the park. It was also our first campground as new rv owners. Sunset over the water. Relaxing.

Were in site 41, it is very sloped, requires the trailer hitch to be very high off the ground.

We absolutely love this park and we will be back. Lots of wild life and the park attendants were very friendly, cant wait to come back.

Nice and clean with fire pits with small Pavillion with picnic tables. Only con is some rv pads are somewhat unlevel.

Even during the pandemic, the park was in great shape and we enjoyed being able to be with family outdoors watching the water sports.

Jim Hogg Park is such a great campground. The sites are right on the lake and surrounded by woods but just a short drive to all the amenities of Georgetown. The staff was very helpful, the grounds were clean and well maintained and it was easy to maneuver our camper in and out. We already have more trips booked to this park!
