Great campsite, #22. Park was clean and well maintained, did run out of toilet paper in womens bathroom 1 morning.

I love this campground. There are beautiful lake side campsites and campsites tucked in the woods. Large areas surround each asphalt pad with individual shade canopies. Water and electric at each site

Quiet and peaceful stay by the lake. Roads are paved with some potholes to dodge. Trees are trimmed except for one just outside the gate you need to watch for. Close to grocery and restaurants.

Glad to see the trees have been trimmed and the grass mowed down. The park looked great - sites were clean.

Beautiful camping grounds, we had site #22 and had this perfect view of the sunset over the river. Only downfall was the walk to the bathrooms was pretty long (long for middle aged people with broken bodies) but even that wasn't too bad.

Due to the online only reservation process, we had to move to 3 different sites in order to stay for 10 days. That is ok, understandable. However twice after we moved, no one ever came in to "replace us" at our previous site! A lot of work for nothing. The park should institute some sort of late check-in notification rule, so that if there is a no-show, then first-come first-served kicks in. For example, there could be a requirement for the customer to telephone the park if they will be arriving after 5pm; then if they don't call to notify park, someone who is waiting could check with the park office to grab a no-show spot. I cannot believe how many empty spots I saw in the loops when the online reservation system showed that nothing was available. No shows who do not bother to cancel online are essentially still getting their spot, because no one else can use it.

Nice park! Sites are spread apart so you aren't right on top of each other. Park host was very nice.

Water & Electric only - dump
Station available as you leave the park. Clean and quiet - rarely mow, only volunteers working and only weekends.

Nice gravel sites with covered shelters.

Had alot of fun clean area camp site. The only issue was the electric connection not working and needed it. Otherwise we had a blast

We picked a site by the lake. We had a beautiful view, but because of the openness, it was so windy, it was difficult to cook outside. Also our site had yellowjackets and I was stung several times. The restrooms were in need of much attention.
HEB and Randalls are nearby, as well as many shopping areas. Downtown Georgetown is quaint and the river is beautiful.
