We have enjoyed Jim Hogg for several years on our annual visit to the area and it has never disappointed. We highly recommend it to others as we travel and look forward to future visits. Thank you to both the professional and volunteer staff for their consistent management and care of the park. Don Rooney

We are always thrilled to stay at Jim Hogg. Staff, voluntary and professional, are the best! Sites and all the grounds are wonderfully maintained. Really like our fellow campers - friendly and courteous - family oriented experience. Thank you. Don R, Illinois

nice park, clean. Lake has a very rocky shoreline, it's hard to get to the water to just swim, water was cool; mostly boating.Sites are nicely spaced apart and covered tables are nice. Didn't use the restroom, have our own, can't rate that but park host was nice and we will return when they reopen after some upgrades are being done from about August 2020 to February or March 2021. It's close to grocery stores.

we extended our stay because it was a nice park, just very hot and wish the shoreline had a beach somewhere as it was all rocks.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great to have the outdoor experience while still being near stores and places to pick up food. The lake was easy to access and clean. We did not use any of the restroom facilities but the site themselves were well kept and enjoyable.

We enjoyed our time at Jim Hogg and will visit again. As with many COE parks, the bathhouses could use some attention. Several of the toilets were broken and a general remodel would be helpful. Sites are well maintained and utilities worked well.
