We were attached by off leash dogs x3 / we went to the on and off duty hosts and no one was available to help us and no emergency number to call other than the police / very dissapointing

Only thing I had was the site had big hump right were our trailer stabilizer set. Had to move up a bit to keep off of..Plus the grass was high but figured we were out of season.

I loved the park only thing I would say was the grass was super tall. But halfway through the trip they cut it so I can say I enjoyed it.

This is a nice park during the week. On weekends it gets pretty crowded. The campsites are a decent size, but not as large as at state parks. As a result, when people pack multiple vehicles into their site and then overflow with more vehicles and boat trailers onto the single lane road, it gets a bit difficult. It felt like camping in a parking lot. The other thing that was troublesome were the groups of people that would walk through other peoples sites in order to get to the water. In my opinion, thats not okay. The volunteers were very friendly, however, there didnt seem to be anyone monitoring the park for potential problems. I wasnt sure where to find the host in the event of a problem. I did not have any issues to report, though. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, I would recommend Jim Hogg Park on week days.

We have stayed here many time and this park is very relaxing. The sites are large, easy to back into, and have water & electric. The park hosts are friendly and helpful.

The two people at the front entrance were so nice and welcoming. The location was well maintained and pretty. Our group had a blast camping!!
