Please do NOT chop down the trees! There is a lot of garbage in the woods at this spot. Would it be too much to ask visitors to clean up after themselves? This spot has a little bit more incline than others and tips side to side so leveling some rigs may be a big harder than the other spots in the park. Not a great Tent spot. The trees will drop debris on your roof in the wind. In my opinion this is a good spot for rigs that are not too tall or too long. There are better places for Mega 5th Wheels. Rangers are excellent and attentive. Staff and Volunteers are helpful and friendly. Hogg is a nice park. I do not use the Public Restrooms so I can not comment on them. There are 2 grocery stores within about 4 miles. As this is surrounded by neighborhoods you will hear dogs barking. Some deer venture through. Sirens in the distance from the Fire Station are easily heard. Cell service can be spotty. TV signal from Fox 7 - NADA!

Somebody stole my bucket from my campsite. There were only a few other campers in the loop. Pretty sad you can not leave anything unattended. I use the bucket s lot while camping. What kind of person steals a used bucket? Then a big storm sent branches and debris crashing onto my camper scratching up my new AC case. The price you pay for shade. Water pressure seemed lower than usual and much lower than other COE spots. This has nothing to do with the camp host. I really like the camp host at this park It would be nice if fellow campers would learn not to block all the dump stations and pull far enough forward do more than one person can use it at a time. Also there were a lot of noisy barking dogs and people leaving their dogs out in the heat

Nice park for car camping, easy access to trails and the lake. Showers and bathrooms were clean.

I love this park..It was very quiet and relaxing.....The showers were nice and hot, Very clean park overall...Friendly staff...I will definitely be back!!

The campsite was nice. A solid 4-4.5 stars. The amenities in general were good about 4 stars. The bathrooms were not so great. The toilet areas were about 3-3.5 stars, while the showers were 2-2.5 stars. Our first night there, it appeared someone was trying to camp in the mens room. It was after hours and he was there again in the morning. By cleaning time he was gone. We plan to return, though.
