As is the case with most every state and corp park, it needs attention. Not a bad park by any means but it appears understaffed and its showing. We had a great site and location was perfect for us.

Great place to get away and relax. Large Rv lots with good variety of open and tree cover.

The attendants were helpful, informative, very kind and welcoming. The park itself; however, lacked a few amenities. The water fountain by the day use bathroom did not work- that is huge on a hot day. Plus, there were no showers for day users- this was not evident online from the park website. The overnight campsites were designed well (electric, bathroom/showers, trash receptacles, potable water). Cabins are a nice feature. Water access was easy, as well.

Major Issues

This park is normally very clean and enjoyable. The only this I really don't like is that the web site shows 99% full yet when I am there are spaces that stay vacant for many days.

really like staying here, but, too many things have changed in the last 4 or 5 years. we used to be able to extend every 2 weeks & not have to move like the web site says, but evidently the guy in the office hasn't read that or nobody has questioned it. also, there are some maintenance issues that really need to be addressed, (street lights that don't work, roads that haven't been worked on for years, trees that need trimming, and in general, some TLC) . other than that we like the park, the upper loop should be open for the longer term people like it used to be. Cedar Breaks has the same problems. you need more volunteers to do some of the things that need to get done.

Great mountain biking trail right in the park. Nice shelter with a concrete pad. The camper can park in the sun to charge the solar panels, while the fire pit/outdoor area is in the shade under the trees

Site was fine, but BBQ was on the ground. Asked the host about it and itโ€™s been that way for a very long time.

Because we are familiar with the location we choose everything went as planned. Easy to park and set up our camp. We were there to visit a relative in the hospital so did not spend much time at the park. However it is ALWAYS a pleasure to drive in and out of the park and see all the deer around the area.
