This place has everything as advertised. Smooth, straight-forward, and convenient. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Really disappointed with the reservations where I tried to extend but they said one day was already reserved so I had toPack up and move out early and I did not get my money back? I actually went back to the space where Gomez family was supposed to to be but they never showed up so I moved out for NOTHING. What a waste what a terrible customer service person Mina? Was. Couldnt care less and was a rude person I hope to NEVER talk to her again. And the rangers said my electric trike was not allowed? They think its a golf cart but its actually a mobility electric tricycle As we ride our electric bikes with never an issue but these troopers said I need to register it properly if it can be done at all? REALLY Im a disabled Vietnam vet and I use this to get around and I get confronted to get it permitted but may not be able to because of class eng size etc. SINCE WHEN does a disabled veteran not able to use a mobility trike? So yes it was a terrible experience and sad I had to go through that and in the end pay for a full night I never used - VERY DISSAPOINTED

I loved my long weekend at Jim Hogg. The electric and water worked beautifully and the campsite was clean when I pulled in.

Great park to visit... Well kept .. But restroom sinks and urinal need to be repaired. Besides restroom facilities,.. great visit. Thx

Very nice and clean, quiet but windy most of our stay where we were camped along the water. Safe and easy to access. Close to town but not too close. Definitely would do again AAA

Our rig is a little over 12 feet tall and there are several trees that scraped the roof when driving through the campgrounds. There was someone set up in our site when we arrived so had to wait for them to move. Once we got set up, we had an enjoyable weekend. Site was level.

We stayed at same place previously but this time public restrooms were dirty. We stayed from Sunday until Wednesday, expected to see cleaner on weekdays but we couldn't. Other than that, everything was great.

We loved our stay in sites 54 and 56. Great camp hosts. Roads are easy to navigate. Many interior sites across from the lakeside sites are quite unlevel. Most of the sides need to be wider. The shower houses are adequate but not the best. The location of the park is outstanding and the park is lovely. We would stay again for sure.

Check-in was not clear and no one was at the entrance gate. Later in the day a volunteer came by and filled out a tag for the vehicle.

Great park, clean restrooms, and nicely spaced sites. Traffic a bit heavy,especially with all the kids. Sites need a little work for safety, to mend asphalt drop offs, but they were pretty level and overall well maintained. Shelters are a plus!

There was a burn ban that went into effect the day before our arrival but we werent notified until we drove 3 hours to get there. Also the site was not level at all and we had a hard time unhitching and rehitching. We stayed one night and left. We dont have a propane pit and dont want to spend the extra money for one. Staying there in 41 degrees without a fire to burn is not our cup of tea.

When I arrived, I was told my reserved sight, #54, was given out and not available.The gate attendant said my reservation was canceled because of of the park closures. I made the reservation after the COE announced the park was opening. I recieved a conformation email a few days before the stay.I drove by sight 54 on the way out and a 45 foot Provost motorhome was sitting there. I wonder who it belongs too?After receiving this review request, I must assume i paid for the two nights that were "canceled ".

I was at site 54 which has an amazing view! However the hookups and outlets in the power box were not working. The outlets in the womens showers/bathrooms did not work either.
