The grass and weeds where very high we had to go get a weed eater and cut them down just to walk around our campsite. We have camped here many times before and not have had this problem not sure whats going on.

Overall a fairly nice park. Like most ACE campgrounds, sits on water (Lake Georgetown) so offers fishing and boating. I'm a snowbird escaping Northeast winters and this is my third year here. Pros: big sites with generally good spacing. Shade and privacy if you choose the right site. Mostly level sites, asphalt but breaking down a bit. Georgetown is a great nearby city with everything you need. Great price/value, only $15/night if you have America the Beautiful Pass. All sites have a covered picnic pad, table, grill and firepit. Cons: Park is definitely showing it's age. Asphalt road and site pads are breaking down. Bathhouse showers are about as bad as they can be, only the brave use them. But I highly recommend and will stay here again. It hands down beats any commercial RV park and most state parks.

Great place to relax and enjoy the day.. We hope to be back someday.. Beautiful park with lots of room. Sites are excellent even for our 40 foot Class A. Thanks to the Army Corp for these parks..

I’ve been camping for several decades and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. There was loud music, screaming, very loud kids and adults until around 3am. People also wondering through our campsite in the middle of the night and during the day. Very disrespectful to those around them and seemingly no enforcement from park staff to enforce quiet hours. I understand everyone wants to have fun, but at 3am, it’s just unacceptable. I will never return.

Very nice campsites - had to rotate spaces due to late reservations during spring break - stayed at sites 20, 26, 96 and 40 - no problems with leveling my motor-home on any of those sites. Spaces along the lake have amazing views of sunset, staff is very friendly. Will come back for sure.

The park was very nice. Unfortunately there was not one restroom that had heat. Being that it was icy not good
