My site pad was not level…I was not able to level my trailer. Very disappointed that the area was in great need of mowing. With heavy dew & burrs it was not pleasant just walking to the picnic table at my site. Need speed signs.
The location was great, sites were accessible & views the best.

This park has tremendous potential. Sites are well-spaced and many have lakeside views. Each site is ample and has a covered picnic table. The lake is close enough to Austin for shopping and dining. However, we found the bath house situation not up to par for a COE park. Not clean and with signage saying to use at your own risk. We had reserved another stay later in the month, but canceled it due to poor restroom conditions. Sad, because it's a nice park, just not managed well right now.

The COE volunteer was rude about our friend's dogs. Yes they were barking; they were in a new place surrounded by new people, etc. therefore nervous and barked. We had our dogs on a runner at the back of our camper where they couldn't even reach midway of our 41' RV, so nowhere near where folks would walk. In less than 12 hours we were told our dog's lead is illegal (for their park only) so it needed to come down immediately. Mind you he watched us put it up bit didn't say anything until the next morning at 8am sharp! He then told our neighbor with the nervous dogs, leave them in the RV (for 5 days) or leave, literally in those words. So long story short, we left and went elsewhere and will not be returning to this park. If the volunteer would have approached us in a better manner, we'd still be there. The park itself is beautiful but be mindful of the odd numbered site along the waterside, they are NOT meant (long enough) for RVs longer than 35' due to the major incline of the hill. Not many trails and you see the HOA subdivision across the lake and still here the traffic. So if you're looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place; it's more of a day use type place.
