Jim Hogg is a beautiful RV park. Lots of peace and quiet and dark skies for star watching at night. The lake is full and has lots of activities to watch or do.

Quiet and peaceful. Loved the sunrise over the lake. Clean and smelled great. I appreciate that the park provided the hose for the cleanout station.

Nice clean park with many hiking trails, boat ramps, fishing, and a swim beach in the area which are all accessible with your vehicle pass. Grocery store nearby.

Beautiful scenery. Very quiet and clean. The electric and water just make it my #1 spot. We had a blast and enjoyed fishing. Will be going back alot more.

Nice park, Spacious site, Deer walking thru the park, close to grocery stores, gas and Restaurants. We will stay here again.

Once you learn to navigate the website its very helpful with pictures of the actual site. Great Park Great Lake Ive been voting on this lake since I was a child nearly 40 years ago!

This is a very nice campground, well cared for and secure. The site we stayed on (31) had a picture-perfect view of the lake. There are two loops the upper loop offers sites that are more private and mostly shaded whereas the lower loop has great views of the lake. We did have to do some leveling so bring some extra blocks. Within a few miles of the park, there is lots of shopping and things to see and do. Cell and OTA tv coverage was very good.

Loved the park. We abandoned our reservation in Galveston due to strong winds preventing kayaking and fishing. Clean, beautiful park that was easy to walk, fish, explore. Showers were weak, not very hot, turning off every 10 seconds or so, but clean bathrooms. We struggled to find trash receptacles. The dump station was great, clean. We would definitely return
