We ran late checking out and the park ranger threatened to charge us with some bizarre citation, told us we had an hour, then fifteen minutes later showed up with four police officers to write a criminal trespass so that we could never come back to this or the other Georgetown parks.Extremely rude to say the least. Can't say I recommend the place.

If you are going to play music it's common courtesy to play it at a volume you can enjoy and not share it with your neighbors 3 campsites away. If you are going to have a fire because you just can not resist the urge to pollute the air...put it OUT before you go to bed so others do not have to live with the pollution you cause. Make sure to light it when the smoke is blowing back on your campsite not away for others to choke on. It's also common courtesy to keep the volume on your kids and dogs at a reasonable level and reasonable hours. The parks are for everyone to enjoy.

Park seems to be a Party place on weekends.
During the week when the partying was not going on it was quite pleasant. There seems to be a lot of way too fast driving in the park.
Also quite noisy during the weekend partying.

Been having a lovely time out here!
Spots have a lot of variety, easy booking, super friendly staff, trails everywhere!

The campsite was quite dirty and trash left from previous camper, the shelter floor was covered with mud and fire ants all on the asphalt where the door to the camper set and we ask them to have it cleaned and was told they would to it next day. We went and purchased fire ant repellent from Heb and took care of that issue. We had stayed before and had a great experience - rather dissatisfied this time. Would we come back? Not so sure - our parents live in Georgetown and we drive a long time to sit down and camp for about 5 days each visit. FYI...your host should make the rounds and say hello and address any issues. I know it’s COVID times but truly not an excuse.
