Love the big sites overlooking the lake and I always see deer & wildlife around. Friendly people. I stop every year when visiting my friends on my way through its reasonable priced. The negative is the restrooms, they need updated, main door would not close & the water barly gets warm & while in the shower a little boy stuck his head under my shower door it startled me..his Mom got him & apologized...but he could have easily crawled right in along with any animals that might wonder in. The showers need to be more private and nicer as sometimes we Rvers like to take a nice long hot shower to treat ourselves out from our Rigs!

Site #42 It was our first camping trip on our camper. We had 4 people (2 adults and 2 teenage boys) and our 2 dogs. Easy to back into and there was lots of space between us and the neighbors on both sides. Right behind us there was a path to walk down to the water.

We have gone to this park several times, looking for the perfect place to camp. We have had some good experiences but recently they have gotten worse and worse. This last time when we stayed in site 42 to be close to the water, we had a site directly behind us who had a pack of little dogs in pens outside. They barked constantly. It was a nuisance and our neighbors were annoyed as well, and WE ALL HAD (quiet) DOGS TOO! There were apparently three RV who were staying the the three adjacent sites, as they all went back and forth between each other's campsites with dogs as well. Anytime anyone would walk by, ride a bike, cough, anytime we'd get up and move at our site or play our own dog they would bark non-stop and would not stop. Most of the time the owner's never said a thing, sometimes they'd yet "shut up" to no avail. It was miserable camping next to them and we're dog lovers! Our other neighbors ended up leaving early due to the annoyance, and we soon followed. I can see why people who don't like dogs only dislike them more and more these days, and responsible dog owners like us are paying the price with more and more restrictions and less places that allow dogs. I wouldn't allow those dogs either. Unfortunately, there's no one you can call or get a hold of over the weekend so you're just stuck. The last time we camped there the person staying two sites down from us was dumping either their gray or black water in the woods behind their site. I tried to call someone, but again, it was the weekend. Unfortunately there needs to be more of a host presence in order to keep irresponsible campers in check, as I've seen at most of the park and places we've gone. There's just not much of one here, so be aware if you need help while camping here.

I was in space 42 and the views were amazing. The park is beautiful, quiet and full of wildlife! I wish I could have stayed longer, so peaceful!

Site 42 is right on the water. It was beautiful and quiet. The people around were friendly while following social distance guidelines. Will be back soon!

Beautiful campground on the lake; however, the public bathrooms/showers need attention. I don't think they were cleaned at all during our 3-day visit.
