Our 4th stay at Jm Hogg and will be back as long as we can drive from Colorado to Georgetown. Rest rooms could use a little more attention and updating but it is camping. As long as there is warm water for showers we're good. Park was well kept and clean. Enjoyed seeing all the campers coming in on Friday evening and all the little kids just having a blast.

Everything went really well and most of your procedures seem to work. We encountered a problem with a "burn ban". The Host had come around and told us we could not burn that there were signs everywhere. We rode our bikes all over the campground and saw no signs. It wasn't until the next day that we saw them posted only at the entrance office. It would be helpful to have them posted within the campground so that people who do not exit can see them. We had also checked the online postings for the state and Williamson county and others were not included in that burn ban, but we were told that the burn ban was state wide. So, there were some discrepencies.

This was our second trip to Jim Hogg campground. We were there in Feb of 24 after an ice storm that tore down many of the trees in the park. Was pleasantly surprise to see that almost all of the broken trees and branches were picked up and hauled off. Our site was fairly level with no issues there. Nice shade trees and park was very clean. Liked that the park is locked 24 hours a day, need a pass code to enter. We have never seen so many children running up and down the park streets on the weekends, really fun to see and great that parents are getting their kids out in nature. Lots of deer as well. The bathrooms are pretty typical for campgrounds clean enough and showers worked well.

This is a nice place to kick back and enjoy the nature trails they have... The sites are spaced pretty good. The water is nice depends where ur at u can swim a bit , they have a boat ramp for those with the boats.. The staff is very nice and respectful.... quite nights... Nice place..

We were in spot 114. 30 amp. Pretty flat. Easy to back into. Beautiful oak tree and so much space between spots. Love the covered area. Grill and fire ring. Loved our stay. This is our second stay in 3 months. Shopping is closeIf needed. The volunteer staff is very friendly and helpful. The only suggestion would be to trim the tree branches away from the paved area. The branches drug across our roof.

Park was nice , larger spaces in the back area- The spot we had seemed to have an electrical problem and ended up burning out a plug / surge protector. Didn't realize what the problem was until recently.
