Very clean campground, I like how sites are spaced out. You dont fell on top of each other. Great view of the lake,

It is always a pleasure to stay at Jim Hogg campground. The sites are large. The staff is friendly. Most of the campers are respectful of others.

The grass was not mowed and could not play games because of the stickers in the grass. The restrooms were clean and otherwise we did enjoy our stay as we always stay here.

Love this park and love camping here. Big roomy sites are definitely a plus. Wish there were full hookups but at least now they have 2 dump stations. Grass is always too high and needs to be cut more often especially for major holidays . Great access to the water for swimming and fishing.

This was our first time booking a campsite and we had no complaints. We arrived 15 minutes before the gate closed and we found our parking sticker placed on the gatehouse indicating our parking spot which was reassuring that our reservation was complete and the park was expecting us. Our only confusion was that we were unsure if we had to "check out" with someone or check in with anyone the next morning.The view of the lake from our spot was lovely and we even had a family of deer come right behind our spot first thing in the morning. We were very happy to experience this park as our first camping experience.

Need security that's not scared to enforce the rules . People speeding through the park and parking on grass with too many cars or trucks on one site. A dangerous park for children or adults riding bikes . Been camping there since the park opened worst I have seen

Very nice park with pretty lake views. Sites are very unlevel so just be prepared for that. Camp hosts were awesome and helpful.

Great park and campsites. Just wish the dump station could take more than one camper at a time.

We love Jim Hogg park in Georgetown. The park host are really nice and they came around picking up trash and checking tags to make sure we all had our tags. The host here were very attentive. Other COE parks we been to was not as attentive as they were.

Jim Hogg COE park is very quiet. Lots of space between sites. Clean facilities. Closest town is Georgetown which has great places to eat & visit. Austin is about 45 minutes away.
