Great location for a family camping weekend. We reserved a group site for a total of 16 and had plenty of space. Definitely recommend Jim Hogg park.

I stay here often. I love this park. Always clean and friendly staff and my guests always have an easy experience with the gate staff.

Great location, the site was close to Georgetown Lake, the lake was peaceful. Bath Houses were clean. Due to rain could not fully enjoy the park.

Pretty place, campsites spaced well and fairly quiet. Volunteers were nice and do what they can. Disappointing Army Corp of Engineers cant maintain bathrooms. In 3 days, they were "cleaned" once via barely hosing the inside down, toilet paper and all (which was never refilled). Pretty gross, invest some money, do better. You charge for this.

Beautiful park located on Georgetown Lake minutes from anything you need. We were lucky enough to have a site lakeside and Loved the view! Prices reasonable too! Enjoyed the deer roaming the park as well !

One of our favorite parks! Just wished they had full hookups. But if they had, it probably would be impossible to get a site. :)

A really nice park! Lots of spaces on the lake. Very spacious too. Thanks boy suggestion would be to add another 1-2 dump stations, so you don’t have to wait in line…

Nice campground. Been coming here for many years. Unfortunately patrons would benefit From a lesson in campground Etiquette. Things like letting your dog run off leash or just walking thru other peoples campsite seem to have become the norm. this seems to be emphasized by the fact that many of them are long-term residents rather then vacationers. Gate personnel seems very friendly but bathrooms could use a good cleaning if not complete remodeling.

We love this place. As Georgetown residents it's great to have such a lovely location and amenities for camping less than 20 minutes from our door in downtown. We continue to come back, and will be there as much as possible. Great spot for a family getaway with easy access to amenities, restaurants, groceries, etc. if you forget something or if semi-roughing it isn't your crew's style.

This park is very clean, the people are nice and we love seeing all the deer!
