Nice park. Clean with covered picnic tables. Big sites. No problems.

Camp ground was very clean including the community bathrooms. The campground host was very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. I did have a pressure issue with my water so i could not connect and leave on. The pressure was too high for my camper.

Disappointing that the staff fee booth staff is now volunteers and they can't do anything. We have worked at a USACE park for over 10 years and every one around us has tried volunteer for both cleaning bathrooms and fee booth and it doesn't work. Our site was extremely sloped (couldn't tell that in the pictures). That would be nice to include that in your description of the site.

Beautiful campground. Clean and large. Everyone was not on top of each other. Our site had a great view of lake. Campground host was very nice. Definitely one of our go to places.

Very nice park. The volunteer hosts were very nice. We stayed right on the water. Only bad part (besides no sewer hookups) is that many of the sites are VERY unlevel!

Jim Hogg Park is one of my favorite places to camp close to home. It's safe, clean and beautiful. The park hosts and staff are always so friendly! I am so grateful for this local getaway.

Wonderful trail access. Very nice covered tables at campsites. Bathrooms and showers need to be updated.

Park is beautiful and campsites where cleaned up after snow/ice storm, everything was well mowed so we didn't have to worry too much about snakes. Firepits could be cleaned out a little, it was pretty full of ash when we got there.

Everything was great except the site (#61) had a significant incline to the point we couldn't level our trailer. Nothing the park can do about it, and we made a note of more level sites that we will reserve on future stays.

Great park! The views over the lake are amazing and if youre into hikes there is plenty of places to walk around the campground. Camp hosts are super helpful and nice and having a grocery store less than 10 mins away is a huge plus! Only complaint is the sites are not level! We had site 61 and our front was up super high compared to our back in our 36 fifth wheel. Might be better suited for a shorter rig or a great tent site.

Site was far from level with a severe slop, Couldn't get a true picture from the web siteThe whole area need mowing, very high grass
