Nice big sites and beautiful view of the water. Its hard to get down to the water but it is a nice clear lake. If I were to suggest anything it would be a little safer trail down to the water from the campsites. We really enjoyed our family campout and would definately go back.

Jim Hogg has upgraded their dump station, providing 2 rather than one, which has sped up clearing out on the weekends. However, like most of the Core of Engineer sites, I have visited, they are way past due in repaving their sites and roads, and in doing more to get their sites level and expanded to provide more room for the trailer along with the steps to both reach asfault. Also, It would be a big improvement to provide sites with full hookups including sewer.

It was an amazing, clean and peaceful park and the water was so beautiful. We will definitely be returning many more times.

Quiet and clean campground with daily visits from the local deer. Only thing that needs upgrade is the showers are mounted way to low and difficult to use.

We total enjoyed the park so much we came after a short stay elsewhere, We value the COE parks and visit as many of them as possible. The volunteers at the parks are outstanding and appreciate their hard work and personalities.

Beautifully maintained park. Abundant wildlife to enjoy. Sites are far enough apart to enjoy privacy yet close enough for group gatherings. We enjoy the sites on the lake, the views are spectacular . Other information to consider, dump site on premises but not at your site, worth the inconvenience. Amenities of the city close by.
