Unfortunately, our last several stays at this park have not been up to par. The lots are not mowed. You must contend with high weeds or revert to mowing the weeds yourself. We did this. All of the lots needed to be mowed. The park attendant is never in the shed to check you into the site but VERY quick to run you down when you are busy setting up to ask for your Vet Card. This is very inconvenient. The park used to be pleasant but has really gone downhill.

The park as always is nice. The big issue is the Trees hanging over the roadway that do damage to the RV roofs. These need to be trimmed asap. Most of the need is common since park maintenance -Please trim the trees!!

This was our first stay. We were meeting friends from out of town so only stayed one night. The campsite #17 was adequately shaded (important due to the heat!) and camp sites were well spaced. Park was full for labor day weekend but our area was quiet and well patrolled.

Park is very nice and clean. Spaces are separated so you are not right on top of others.

We enjoyed our visit. The volunteers at the gate and about the park were very helpful and friendly. I wish the park had waste bags about the park for those who start walking their dog and forget a waste bag.

Despite documents saying there would be an attendant in the gatehouse until 6 pm, there was not. There was no number to call to reach anyone with questions. No one to ask if there were any last minute cancellations so we could have changed sites. Many sites were never occupied for the duration of our stay. No firewood for sale. No one to give us the late night emergency gate code.

We've been to Jim Hogg park twice now and had a great time each visit. Great views and quiet at night.

Very clean area and staff was very friendly. The campers around us were quiet and there was plenty of space in each camp and just enough space away from neighbors.
