this was by far the worst experience Ive had in over 60 years of camping. Arrived at the campsite to find litter everywhere. We were unable or felt unsafe, having a campfire as the ring was set right next to an un mowed field. Other than the first five minutes, we were unable to find a camp host even during posted hours. The first night a campsite left their music and blinking lights on all night. on Friday night, the campsite next to us, containing two adults and two minors were drinking and playing their music loud into the night. Looked on website to find a phone number for Assistance, none listed. Went to the entrance shack during normal listed hours, no one available to file complaint. We did not speak to the neighbors about their loud music during the day, however, at 11 oclock on Saturday night we did ask them to lower the music. at midnight, when they raised the music louder, we called in Georgetown police. not only did they have two minors that were obviously intoxicated, they left all three dogs off leash during their stay. they also failed to put any garbage in receptacles until the police instructed them to do so.

This was a great park to take the kids to, we were only there for the weekend but they had a lot of fun exploring the park and riding around on their bikes. This loop has a lot more kids around and they liked making new friends. The park is pretty clean, the sites are nice and big. We stayed on site 47, it was a very short walk to the bathrooms and the view we really enjoyed the view of the lake from our site. We definitely plan on going back.

Ramp to Fishing pier is unsafe and not accessible for dogs. Dogs slide down metal ramp and people struggle going down on it. Grass was talk with weeds near campsite. Not a lot of shade on sites.

This was my first camping trip ever. The park was EXTREMELY clean; The site (47) where we camped and the bathrooms. The bathrooms were comfortable for our two day trip. They were hot but it was extremely hot outside. The only negative thing I could say is it needs a bit more ventilation. The walk from the site to the bathroom very manageable. The staff (Steve and the lady whom checked us in) were great. Steve allowed the kids to borrow his pool noodles for the lake. The lake view was great. You do that to climb down to get to the lake but very much worth it. There is wildlife so throw your trash out before you go to bed. The grill, water source, and electrical worked for us. There is a Randalls right outside the park so don't worry! Bring a LONG electrical cord. Great space. Great Price. Already planning my second trip!

My family and I had a great time camping here! It is an awesome park and the campsites are nice and spacious. You also have access to the lake which is gorgeous! If you're ever in the area I highly recommended camping here.

make sure you get the gate code on your e-mail because there is no one at the entrance gate. Restrooms' could use a good cleaning.... lots of damage from the winter freeze and they are still working on it but glad they are open to full capacity. noisy spring break families with kids up and screaming at 11 pm ....not enough host or ranger presence
