Cedar Breaks is a wonderful park on beautiful Lake Georgetown. We love the location and the campsites are pretty nice for the most part. That being said, the bathrooms are a disgrace and are the reason for my 1 star rating. Whoever cleans them does not do a thorough job and they have been neglected too long. They need to be gutted and upgraded. Some of the plumbing does not work and the men's room smells horrible. It appears the camp hosts there do not inspect anything very closely. I hope by the time we return later this year we can see great improvements and write a complimentary review about the bathrooms.

This is a well maintained, safe, gated campground. There is an abundance of wildlife, awesome views, crystal clear waters and a heavily trafficked hiking trail. The sites are reasonably level and paved, as an added bit of awesome, each site has a nice large covered pavilion on concrete slab, grill and ringed fire pit. The bathroom situation is pretty minimal, tiny showers (stall doors though not curtains) and stainless steel sinks and toilets. I highly recommend this campground.

The campsite is clean and well-maintained, the grill, water hookups are functional.

Bring your own wood - the host even suggested it.

They don't clean out the firepits frequently. I camped for 2 nights. As guests checked out at 2pm new ones arrived at 3pm. The host/volunteer did not check the sites for cleanliness, just a drive by. They don't clean out the firepits frequently. Mine was FULL of trash when I got there.
