The overall experience was great! The site had plenty of shade and the bathrooms were pretty nice. I loved walking around the park and seeing all of the wildlife. My brother even found some fossils right at the campsite! The site also had a great view of the lake which was nice. Overall I feel that it was such a fun trip and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Pros: Great lake views, spacious spots, fantastic pergolas on concrete pads.Cons: Disgusting bathrooms, no sewers at sites, trail is exceptionally rough rock and requires hiking boots, trail is not visible on map apps.

We love this camp ground and have for many years. However, the covered areas are sadly deteriorating. Shingles are missing and huge leaks from the rain had us unable to leave anything without it getting soaked. There are areas where the boards are separating and sagging. Its is sad to see this kind of decline. The area is still beautiful but the neglect on the upkeep is going to cause the covers to be unusable in the not too distant future. The bathrooms have also been without repairs(sinks, dryers, faucets) and its sad to see.

Cedar Breaks is our favorite spot for a quick getaway. The sites are great and the location is perfect. The only downside to the experience is the terrible condition of the restrooms. They're old and badly in need of refurbishment, but on top of that they're just plain filthy. Our expectations are set nice and low for park restrooms, but these are as gross as any we've encountered, and it's that way month after month, year after year.

What a shame that such a nice park would be overshadowed by poor administration issues! The main issue was their 10:00 PM curfew. We are not children and we don't need to be treated as such. We were locked out of our site twice because we were unable to make their curfew and had to find somewhere else to stay.I don't understand why they prefer to leave the campground mostly empty rather then allowing people to pay to extend their stays beyond the 14 day maximum. No recycling containers are used, I expect better from our federal government!

The park is very nice and late arrival check-in was very easy. It was nice to have the gate code in the reservation email.

Small, peaceful park on Lake Georgetown close to the Heart of historic downtown Georgetown

The Lake was down so low we couldn't get a hook in the water from the fishing pier due to the drought, but the camping was great. We saw several deer foraging thru the trees. We love the shaded spaces and the covered picnic table area at each campsite.

One of my favorite parks with large sites, most have privacy and a lake view

Beautiful, laid back, quiet and relaxing park. Sunrises and sunsets over the lake are fabulous. Park closes to all outside traffic from 10PM to 6AM the next morning so that security is provided. The hosts provide a code for the main gate in addition to the internal gate for the campground itself so that "residents" can get in and out if necessary. There are two restrooms with showers that are dated, but they are clean and functional. HEB grocery store is conveniently located within five miles of the park. Some of the RV sites are on an incline which makes leveling your rig a challenge, but there are plenty of level spaces both wooded and clear. Boating, fishing, skiing, swimming or just relaxing and enjoying nature are all a part of Lake Georgetown. This is my favorite ACOE park in the Georgetown/North Austin area.
