Took the camper out. Great amenities to include electric, water, shade structure with table, firepit, and restroom facilities. There is a pretty good trail.

Beautiful park. Huge campsites with so many oak trees to provide shade. Great lake views

The park is convenient, but in need of repair. We were surprised to see an ACE campground in such a sorry state. And Im not talking about the ice storm damage. The baths were in terrible shape, we used our van which we dont usually do when there is a bathroom. There were also a lot a campers that looked like they were living there, and they werent very nice looking. We were disappointed. The whole place just looked run down. Hope some funding is on the way to improve this potentially nice park!

Beautiful park, nice spacious sites each with a grill, fire pit and covered shelter over the picnic table. We were there for 5 nights but could not reserve1 spot for all 5 days, so we had to move after day 2. Good thing, we were on site 36 and despite using every leveling block I had, we could not get the RV level. Site sloped heavily towards the lake. When we moved to site 25 it was much better and not hard at all to get level. Not sure if you can find out which spots are more level than others. We are a 40' Class a, smaller RV's and campers might have an easier time.

Although overall our experience was enjoyable, I do have to take notice of the relative unhelpfulness of the staff at the gate area. Our check-in time was at 3pm. We arrived at approx. 1130 thinking there might be a slight possibility that we can check in early. The gentleman stated that we can only check in at 3pm. We then asked if we could at least enjoy the park until our check-in time. He stated no because there would be no place to park. We only had a small teardrop camper and could have easily parked in the boat launch area. We would have also gladly paid for a day pass, if that was an option. Unfortunately he did not give us that option. We ended up going to Russell Park and paid for day pass. I did relate our experience to the staff at Russell Park and they were somewhat surprised that we were treated in that manner. I must applaud the staff at Russell Park for being helpful, friendly and customer-oriented.

Nice park on the southeast shore of Georgetown Lake. Really like the use of gate codes which keeps people who dont belong there from driving through. Makes it quiet and peaceful. We were there on a cold day in late October, so nobody was using the open air showers and restrooms. They were clean but cold. Spot 36 was not level but on the lakeside of the road, but very high bank with no access to the water. Would stay here again.

The park staff was very helpful and courteous. We stayed in Spot #36 and had a great view of the lake and great shade. The only negative I can say is that I went over to take a shower at the public restrooms and the water was so hot i couldn't take a shower there. Other than that everything was great. We went and walked around the Georgetown square (which is one of my favorites). All the great shops are open - just don't forget your mask!!! We will definitely be back to Cedar Breaks Park!

This is a great park. The grounds are maintained and look nice. Unfortunately our campsite was in terrible condition upon our arrival - broken glass on the covered concrete patio and beer bottle caps all over the surrounding area. Apparently someone had a really good time - but they didn't have the courtesy to clean up after themselves. We've camped at this park since 1999 - we stay here often and consider it our "home park" so obviously we enjoy camping at Cedar Breaks! It's sad, but it seems over the last few years some people have less respect for the park property and those that camp after them. We were in site #36 - it's a beautiful site with a great lake view, but please be aware that the trailer pad is an "ankle breaker." Over the years the soil has eroded so much that the pad is considerably higher than the ground leaving a very uneven surface on the door side of the RV. Actually, there are a number of sites in similar condition, but this one is probably one of the worst.
