Very nice, very clean park. Campsites are well spaced and have very nice covered picnic tables as well as grill and fire pit. Volunteer at the check-in station was super friendly and helpful. Restrooms were very clean, but be aware that the dressing area for the showers is not private - but is open to the main community area of the restroom. Was disappointed that there was not good shore fishing accessibility so unless you have a water craft, fishing is kind of a no-go.

Great place to take a boat, pontoon. We have camped at cedar breaks several times. We have a camper and love the sites. Especially if you can book a site by the lake. Smaller park than Jim Hogg. Hiking is ok. I find swimming more of a challenge since there isnt a beach like area to get into the water. Nice place to book and I enjoy camping there.

Always a good time here. We go during the week so it's pretty quite which we like.Large spacing so neighbor aren't real close.

Clean bathrooms, but could use cooler water in these summer temps!

CBP is one of my favorite campgrounds in Texas. Great hike trail and picnic area and a huge 4 lane boat ramp. It sits on a cliff overlooking the lake and the picnic area is a giant loop with lake views all over. Perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

Park maintenance was not quite up to its usual good standards. A volunteer dropped off my windshield sticker on day 2 of my stay. There were almost more park hosts than regular campers. What were the hosts doing?

Great park with views, trees and facilities. Quiet but close to HEB and restaurants.

Beautiful Park. Nice facilities and very friendly staff. Don,t park on the grass or you will get in trouble. lol. Showers in the bathroom could use a lil TLC but they get the job done.

Great stay! This was our first time at Cedar Breaks. The pictures of the sites on the website are always helpful in choosing a spot that meets our needs/wants and that's how we chose site 29. We like to look at security of the grounds, proximity of the site in relation to the road, restrooms, and to other sites, placement of table and fire pit, and the view. This had it all: park hosts make regular rounds to check the grounds, street light close to site with just enough light, short walk to RR, not too close to the road, front door of trailer faces the picnic table, fire pit in front of table (we prefer behind the table, but this one was great), and the view!! We could see a good portion of the lake as well as Jim Hogg campground. Seeing their lights and campfires at night was a plus. The edge/dropoff is clearly marked with large red signs and borded with cable for safety, but there is plenty of space for camp chairs, hammocks, and walking around the campsite. We have already scouted other (better) sites for our next visit!
