Beautiful lake views and quiet location for camping. We always enjoy our time at Cedar Breaks Park. Also close to downtown Georgetown with nice restaurant choices and fun shops.

This was our first stay here and it was overall enjoyable. We stayed in Site #13 and it had a patio with cover, a broken fire ring that needs to be replaced and a charcoal grill. Our site wasn't clean, with lots of small pieces of trash on it, but we picked that up. It's nice having the reservoir there, but there is no access to it from this site. The park was very quiet at night and we enjoyed ourselves. A huge high school is being built just outside the gates of the park, so we anticipate that it will not remain nice and quiet and access to it may change.

We've enjoyed camping at this very nice park several times over the years. Recently, our campsite (32) was not lakeside, but on the interior of the loop, where several sites are large and so give more privacy. We were able to put two 9x10 tents in a secluded area about twenty yards behind our covered shelter, and so were away from vehicles, walkers, and kids on bicycles. We've enjoyed hiking on the 26 mile loop around the lake; although, on this trip, I skipped this rocky trail, opting to walk out of the park and over the dam, and take the trail toward Georgetown. You can get all the walking you want this way and, at 72, this path was much easier on the ankles than the lake loop. I strongly recommend good hiking boots and at least one pole if you want to experience the lake loop. Crockett Gardens is 2 - 3 miles to the left from the trailhead and is well worth the hike.

Always a good park. Many of the blacktop pads have crumbling edges that make for dangerous drop offs. We were camping but noticed many of the day use canopies were missing a lot of shingles.

We have to bring our own weedeater each time we camp. The "volunteers"sites are all perfect. Never saw any volunteer doing maintenance while we were there.

Check in was a breeze with nice people at the front desk/office and park & bathroom were very clean. Lots of people working around the clock, to get the branches and debris cleaned up after the winter storm. It was our first time camping at Cedar Breaks, and we are going back for sure. Thank you for keeping it clean and nice.

Great park for those you like outdoors physical activities, such as fishing, swimming, paddling, hiking and cycling. Bathroom needs some cleaning due to amount of people at site.

Love the amenities. Great water view, separate areas for each camper with outlets and water, great hiking trail.

Lawns needed mowed. We bring our weedeater! Most rv pavement needs tending. Drop offs, erosion can cause injuries when stepping out of rv. When we reserve I have to avoid beautiful spots because of dangerous driveways. This problem is at Cedar Breaks & Jim Hogg that we frequent. Where is our $$ being put?

Poor review is result of ice storm. Our reservation from 3/1 to 3/15 was cancelled first, from 3/1 to 3/5. We were notified the park was open. Then we were cancelled again until 3/12. Because we never began our reserved time we were supposed to receive a full refund. We have not received anything yet. Supposedly a problem with recreation.gov. Still waiting.

Very pretty park with really nice RV spaces both shaded and /or with lake views. Some are a little unlevel but not bad. Excellent hiking trail around the lake. Very quiet park where you feel like you are away from everything but can get to any kind of shopping and restaurants within a few minutes. We will definitely stay here again.

1. The onsite volunteer came to my person without a mask more than once.2. He was very rude when he said they couldn't contact me. I was less than 500yds down the nearest trail. No-one came looking. I tried using online portal but would not let me reserve site. My phone did not get service, soon as I was back at the site. I called the center to reserve the site and was FINALLY able to get a hole of someone.3. When I did get the site reserved, the volunteers never returned to give me my tags.4. Both volunteers came @ 9AM next day and BANGED on my car to wake me up out of my tent. This was uncalled for and RUDE. Not my fault he did not check database before waking me up.5. My wife has a sever case of epilepsy & is easily startled. The volunteers doing this made her so anxious she mad a mini attack in the car on the way home. We felt so unwelcomed that we vacated the site by 10:30AM.6. They did none of this to any other site and we felt singled out because we had tents and the only non-Caucasian people at the park.7. Even more disappointed to see a Texas A&M flag hanging at the site for the volunteer closest to the entrance. As a fellow Aggie, he definitely showed all Aggies shame.8. The male facilities were DISGUSTING and not clean. 2 of the toilets did not work most of my stay. The women's place was also dirty and my wife now has a staff infection in her eye. Doctor most likely said it was from using the facilitates. 9. This night was night #3 of our stay of our original stay starting 10-6-2020. We liked it so much we wanted to stay another night, night #3 ruined our trip.
