Unfortunately, the young gentleman claiming to be the host bring this review from positive territory to negative territory. Beautiful scenery. Peaceful. Bathrooms could have used a cleaning. Replacing that host would be a win/win for all.

Overall the park is in great location with plenty of shaded sites. The bath houses are not cleaned and need repairs. Many of the sites have pads that need repair.

Clean, quiet and close to home. The hard stand pergola that was part of each campsite was a game changer in the inclement weather.

We have been coming to Cedar Breaks every year for about 30 years. We love this park. This is the first year that we have had any issues. We were at site #7. For the first 3 days, the second bathroom stall at the women's bathroom across from us was backed up. I finally flagged down a volunteer, and it was taken care of the next day. We ran out of toilet paper by the second day, and campers in the park were putting in their own toilet paper. On the day the lady came to clean, she only cleaned the men's side and not the women's side, thus not replacing toilet paper. The other bathroom in the middle loop had plenty of toilet paper. On our second to last day, I saw some more volunteers getting ready to leave and talked to them. She said she worked in the office and would report it to the correct person. She was very understanding of the situation, and I appreciated her help in the matter.
Another issue was the fire pit being about 6 inches deep in ash and sand. Flagged down the camp host and talked to him about it. Apparently, there is a company that comes by at some point to clean it out. He also said that if someone was at the site it wouldn't get done. He brought us a bucket and shovel, and we cleaned out some of it.
I know times have changed over the years from when we first started coming. It used to be that every site was cleaned before the next one came in from cleaning the fire pit to cleaning the grill and cleaning the picnic area.
We will continue to come every year. I just hope we don't have the bathroom issue again.

The Rv campground is clean, the sites are spread out nicely. The park is quiet during the nights. Rhonda at the gate was absolutely wonderful. We will be back.

Always enjoy a stay at Cedar Breaks. Only issue is some of the pads and driveways are in need of repair on the edges.

My trip was cut short, bicycle failure. I was bikepacking the Goodwater Loop counterclockwise and made it from Georgetown to Jim Hogg Park and then became a pedestrian :)I have visited Cedar Breaks about 5 times on other bike trips and it looks as nice as Jim Hogg... go figure, the same wonderful people who host and maintain Jim Hogg also handle this park!I was unable to reach the recreation.gov site to cancel my reservation.

excellent park but some of the trees need to be trimmed back. higher rigs with more slideouts hit branches. Very welcoming and friendly personal at the gate. Would like the limitations on number of people and vehicles per campsite enforced.
