As a cyclist, I really like the trail options at this park! I was safely able to ride into Georgetown on the trail system. I road about 40 miles that day and the trails and roads were bicycle friendly. I did have an issue with raccoons in the bathroom garbage bins. I would recommend keeping the doors closed or remove the trash cans.

Very nice Campground. Each site has its own pavilion over the picnic table so if it is raining or misting you can still be outside.

Not much to do in the park, which is what makes it relaxing. Great view of the lake and quiet neighbors.

Our site was clean and ready for our arrival. All of the hosts were friendly and made us feel welcome. The site had a beautiful view of the lake. We will be camping at Cedar Breaks many more times in the future.

The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. We camped at site 27 which has a beautiful view of the lake and sunset. This site is fairly flat so leveling a longer travel trailer is not too difficult. There is plenty of parking area at the site for two vehicles. Cedar Breaks is our favorite local campground.

The park hosts were great and let us hold their hawks. We stayed at Site 27 and had a wonderful breeze off the lake and sunsets were amazing. The only downside was the extremely loud hip hop being played by a wake boarder boat but not much you can do about that.

I have been camping here for 8 years and never had anything stolen until now. I went out in the morning to run errands and when I came back my brand new electric cord was gone and so were the noisy obnoxious neighbors. Sad because I usually have a great experience at cedar breaks.

We stayed at space 27 for two nights and then transfered to space 21 in both cases they were great. Loved the views of the lake and the sunsets.

We had a enjoyable stay at site 27 from Feb 12 to Feb. 16. However, we had registered with two vehicles but when we checked in on Feb 12 the board only had one window tag. I tried twice on the next day but no one answer the call box. So for the next two days our rental had no tag. Nothing happen, no challenges or visitation to our site.

Spent a relaxing weekend here. Even though you are within an expanding urban area the park was still nice and quiet at night. The sites are generously spaced so you have plenty of "privacy" from your neighbors. A nice spot to return to

These campsites have it alla large covered shelter with picnic table, benches and prep bar beneath, a fire pit, a grill, water and electric hookup. All campsites are large and designed for maximum privacy and space. Lots of beautiful trees and spots with views of the lake. Multiple restrooms, well maintained.

Cedar Breaks has been slow to recover from the recent ice storm with piles of limbs laying piled up on roadside droves and across trails. The restrooms are outdated and not very well maintained.Other Corp campgrounds in the area are nicer and better maintained.

Corps of Engineer parks are all a blessing as far as we are concerned. We're full-time RVrs and stopped here for 5 nights on our way to our winter stay in south Texas.(28 ft motor home with a towed). All spaces here are water and power only. The pads are asphalt and the picnic tables are permanent and covered. We did have a challenge leveling so look it over good. There is no wi-fi but we had 3-bars on Verizon so hot-spots work well streaming. The lake is beautiful (Georgetown) but I caught absolutely nothing with bait or lures off the bank. The Cedar Breaks provide plenty of shade. The bathrooms and showers are outdated and what you might find at a highway rest stop- ready for an upgrade. The nearby town of Georgetown has all the main conveniences and Austin is a good day trip from the campground. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very nice park within a short drive from the Austin metroplex. It's on a good sized lake, and there were plenty of large trees in the camping area. Many of the campsites, including the one I stayed at, are large enough for several tents, and all have large, sheltering gazebos with tables. The 26 mile trail around Lake Georgetown affords ample hiking opportunities. I have camped at Cedar Breaks Park numerous times, and enjoyed every trip. I highly recommend this park.

Overall great site with a better view. No full hook up to speak of and only one dump station. Wait times get long when most check out on Sunday. Would visit this site again in the future.

Hiking to the overlook to see the sunrise is a must. From cedar breaks it's about a mile hike to get there. Hike an additional 1.5 miles past the overlook and you can visit the waterfall which is also fun.

Very peaceful! Great location on the lake! plenty of space between sites and nestled in the woods but no so much that its difficult to park a 32 foot travel trailer. Easy to get in and out! Already booked again!

Nice park! Lots of trees and many sites overlook the lake. Only downsides are the antiquated restrooms and some of the pads are no where close to being level.(Bring some extra boards, blocks etc
