A great ACE campground. Over 60 sites, mostly with >50% shade. Good spacing. All sites include covered, cement patio, picnic table, fire ring. Most sites are +/- 1inch side to side, if you have a rig more than 25ft many sites along lake will have 3-6inch front to back (lakeside) or back to front slope opposite lakeside. IMHO, odd sites 1-10 are best for levelness. Sits on Lake Georgetown for fishing, boating, hiking. Campground is <4 miles to Georgetown shopping, restaurants, shops, services, etc. Decent cell signal, even occasional 5G. You can't beat the $15/night rate with America the Beautiful pass ($30 full price). The absolute ONLY NEGATIVE are the bathhouses. They are in DIRE need of upgrading. It doesn't look like they have been updated in at least 20 years. Aside from that, wonderful campground.

The park was really nice plenty of shade the park was well taken care of. My only complaint was the restrooms and shower. They were old style metal push button sink, toilets and showers. Smelt bad in there. And showers were mostly cool . Only had a few warm showers in a week rest were cold. So if your rv camping great place. Or tent camping in late summer

Good park, less crowded than last time. Some signs of efforts to address maintenance challenges.

We stayed in a RV. Wonderful place to get away or stay in the Austin Metroplex area. The Corp Parks in general are older and the pads need some upgrading. Amble room between sites surrounded by trees. Georgetown Lake is not overly big but provides plenty of opportunity for fun and relaxation. The neighboring parks on the lake provide other amenities (beach) should you want a sand beach. Restrooms are basic but clean and adequate. Campers range from Class C to tent campers. Rates are always good and the volunteer staff is there to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We had an excellent first family camping experience at Cedar Breaks! The kids enjoyed going hiking and fishing, as well as telling ghost stories and roasting marshmallows over the campfire. Having the local raccoons make an appearance after dark was fun too, as their chittering added even more excitement to my first time campers experience. The cleanliness of the restrooms and showers was much appreciated, other campers were aware and respectful of our space, overall a fabulous time was had by all!

Very unpleasant stay here over the weekend. The campground thought it would be acceptable to let commercial sized food trucks show up at 11 pm and park their trucks and generators just 10 from my tent as seen in the pictures. To add insult to injury, the refrigerated food truck ran on a generator all night and kept the entire family and camp site up. This should have never happened and frankly whoever let them drive down to a private campground unattended should be fired. This was completely unacceptable when there are literally dozens of other spots to park that are not near campers. Absolutely Ridiculous!

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
