First time but definitely not our last. Hosts were great and our time there was nice and quiet.

The campsite was wonderful, each with its own substantial roofed picnic shelter. We were quite impressed and enjoyed our stay.

we've always been able to extend our camping every 14 days for up to a max. of 120 days, now, all of a sudden without notice, I've heard we can't do that anymore; plus the rule was we had to be out 14 days before coming back and now, without any notice someone said it's 16 days. plus, the rangers tell us they don't make any money on the camping, but, if that's the case why is half the campground closed (referring to Jim Hogg). we like coming here but if things keep going down hill, so to speak we'll have to go somewhere else. plus there are things that could be done by volunteers to make this a better experience for people to enjoy. volunteers say they need more help; we volunteer in the summer in Iowa and asked to help here & we're told there were enough people. so who's right. everything considered I personally prefer Jim Hogg over Cedar Breaks but they're both nice. They could just be so much nicer with a little TLC.

We had a lovely family reconnect over a long weekend. The only issue we had was that across the street, the guest's dogs barked through the night, which was disruptive.

Love the covered picnic bench area which is big enough for a few other chairs as well.

Very clean and lots of shade at every site. Easy access to water with a nice boat ramp. No mosquitoes either. Will definitely return.

We, usually, camp at Cedar Breaks several times a year. Its always clean, and this time was no different!! The staff and volunteers are always so nice helpful. Lake Georgetown warms up earlier than some if the larger lakes in the area. Will definitely return!!
