Campsite was great. Great hiking trails nearby. Lots of space between sites with a large cover over the picnic table area. The restroom was not great. Horrible shower heads and no dry dressing area.

Very good experience here; however, restrooms could have been cleaner. Very nice staff in attendance.

COVID Times: Was able to enter and camp with no interactions with anyone beyond the website. People were friendly and respectful of distance. Had a great swim. Brisk 50 degrees for a February Day.

This is my favorite campground in the Hill Country of Texas. It has clean bathrooms, level paved sites, water and electric. The cedar trees offer shade year round. Lake views are always beautiful. Easy to get to from Round Rock and Georgetown. Deer abound.

I visited this park for my birthday, January 2021, and it was amazing. My 4 friends and I had a single campsite, we had enough space to put up 3 tents, each one spaced far apart, and still were secluded from the rest of the park by trees and sheer distance. There was a ground-level, metal fire pit with an attachable iron grill top! Sturdy enough to hold two cast iron skillets, but simple enough for one person to move. The view was INCREDIBLE. Lake Georgetown is vast and beautiful. We could see the water from our tents and the cliff's edge was just a 45 second walk from our fire pit! It was a magnificent sight to cook breakfast to. Since it was the middle of winter the other campers were mostly using RV's or camper vans, but they were pretty quite and the tree coverage helped separate us. We didn't use the showers because it was too cold outside, but they weren't dirty! In fact, the toilets were some of the cleanest of any campsite i've ever used. The people were very friendly and minded their own business. The campsite closes at 10pm so when we got there the manager came to give us our code to get back in. Really safe, I would feel comfortable going back as a solo female traveler. Pro tip, the Cedar Breaks to Tejas Hiking Trail is really good and within walking distance from the camp! 10/10 would def return. Happy camping :)
