We had a two night stay at Cedar Breaks. The campground is nice with large sites and a covered pavilion. My complaint is about the reservation system. We made a last minute decision to visit the Austin area after having been in High Island, Texas. I had checked online and noted that there were many empty sites, so we drove to Cedar Breaks expecting to be able to choose a site when we arrived. Nope. The only way to get in is to make an online reservation in order to obtain the gate code. Luckily, I had a WIFI connection that allowed me to make the reservation while sitting next to the Camp Host at the entrance to the campground. Not sure what the job of the camp host is.....

Things have not been updated in quite a while. Sites near the lake are very close together. The picnic shelter in our site has loose shingles sitting in the roof. The asphalt was rough and edges presented a tripping hazard. As a whole the park was neat and clean.

Very cool campsite. The camp pads weren't a but too close together but not terrible. Running water at site is convenient. Nice quiet place to spend the night. Bathroom easily accessible as are trash cans. Would recommend. I went tent camping with my motorcycle. The only thing that kind of sucks is they do not allow parking off of paved sections. Since I went there on a dual sport with all of my gear packed on the back, it would have been very convenient if I was allowed to park what I was setting up my tent. But not too big of a deal. Also, kind of surrounded by RVs. So more light than I really like when camping.

Beautiful park with spacious campsites. Very relaxing. Didnt try the bathrooms or showers but the campgrounds were clean. Will definitely be back again!

The lake was beautiful, lots of boaters. Our campsite was nice, site 17, only shade was at the table and behind the the trailer. We had great views of the lake and side is close to the swimming hole and bath house.
Down side, the bath houses are hot and have no ventilation.

This was out first camping excursions with our travel trailer in 2019 and since then we have been back numerous times. The trails are nice and we love to ride our bikes around the park/campsite.

Our location had a slightly uneven pad, but it was nice and very close to the lake. Electric and water worked well, but the adjacent pavilion was in a bit of disrepair. The trash bins were well situated and maintained, and the dump station was easily accessible and we'll maintained. All in all, though parts of the RV area were closed, all the aspects that we needed worked well.
