Pros:Magnolia Ridge offers spacious, well-laid-out campsites with plenty of shade and privacy. The amenities showers and restrooms are in decent shape, functional and convenient, though not spotless. Our site was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a family weekend. The park manager was attentive, even stopping by to check in and kindly bringing firewood for our smores night a really nice personal touch.Cons:Come prepared with lots of mosquito repellent, especially during the warmer months. Swimming isnt available, but theres plenty of fishing and several good hiking spots.Overall:A great spot for families who want a relaxed, quiet camping experience. Best enjoyed in the cooler months after the first hard freeze knocks back the mosquitoes, this would make an excellent winter camp destination.

Our 5th annual Memorial Day at Magnolia. Other than heat & humidity, we had a great stay.

Park attendants did a very good job of having the site clean and keeping the fire ants treated, mostly, in the camp site. Hard to keep fire ants completely out.

We’ve always enjoyed camping at this park. Most time it’s very quiet. Restrooms were clean. Just wish that the fish were biting better.

It was during the freezing temperatures. The hosts kept the water on so we had water we could fill up a bucket and keep in the Rv so we had water and it was a great time with the cold temps. We went on the hiking trails on both days and had a wonderful time In the cold.

They only let campers under 15 yrs old fish in the stocked pond and there is no fish in the lake at all I lost a lure and an hour later caught it and the bait was still on the lure.. Don't plan to catch any fish if you camp there. And the camp sites are way too small for tent campers. It's meant for RV campers who don't fish. Wouldn't recommend.

Magnolia Ridge is a great park for getting away! The park hosts are always friendly and helpful. We like kayaking and biking while there. Bring a chainsaw and collect all the firewood you need :)

This is a wonderful and beautiful place to go and get away for awhile. I'd go back today if I could. NOW, here is the bad part. My wife and I were in spot #41 which is absolutely wonderful. For the two weeks we were there, two stray dogs, that evidently were abandon before we arrived, were running wild and I continually had a problem walking my little dog. Even after everyone was notified, no-one set a trap. I wish they could have found a good home for them. Maybe it's a small problem, but it made our trip much less enjoyable.

We enjoyed our privacy at this park. We stayed in site 41 all by ourselves at this end of the park. The next campers were not even visible from our site. Only complaint was tree trimming on our last morning without any notice. But that probably only happens once a year!
